I bought a 1970 plymouth duster a couple weeks ago and it came with a org. 340 4 speed 1972 duster parts car. I went and picked it up two days ago. he took the 340 and 4 speed out and the 8 3/4. he replaced the rear with a sevan and a quarter and did not bolt it on. the car had no front susp. org. hemi org 340 4 speed car. I went to go get it and...,...the pics tell the rest . unrestorable I stripped as much as I could of from it.

Anything can be restored. Just do what the Hemi guys do. Buy a rust free 6cyl car, drill out all the spot welds and weld it all back together around the old vin tag.

Sometimes the amount and locations of the rust is incredible. My old neighbor retrieved his first car, it was a Cutlass, from a garage in Michigan that had a dirt floor. It was very near a body of water, was stored since 86 or so. One door skin was completely gone. The front bumper had rotted to the point that it fell off in transit. When we got the car unloaded one of the lower control arms gave out. He showed me pictures of it the day he parked it, had absolutely no rust....

Wow thats a shame. But its giving its life so others may live. How bad is the antenna mast, cable, and pieces to hold it into the fender. Will these parts fit a 67 barracuda. PM me

Matt

Now why can't the little old ladies of the world have more of these tucked away in the garage, instead of the green and brown slant 6 cars you usually find?

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!! EXACTLY! That's why I'm gonna buy an SRT-8 Challenger for me and my wife when I hit 65.

I swear they are all white, tan or brown with any one combo of that color of vinyl top and interior....and someone cut speaker holes in the door panels.
