What have I gotten myself into?

Outside on her own tires and the wheels turned. You tell me how will she steer?

kind of a roller/coaster....

gettin there.....what kind of ground clearance do you have at that height?...is that your ride height?

We want to know how it steers. Have somebody push you around the block.

She's going on the alignment rack tomorrow. I will do a full droop, compression steering sweep. Now my car is gonna be a loose interpretation because of my huge wheels and low stance but I'm gonna check everything out and see where we sit.

should be very close...try to simulate the tie rod parrallel to the lower control arm....if not already.

Don't ever try rolling your car out of the shop by yourself if you have automatic doors. I thought I pulled it back far enough to clear the door. I was wrong. good thing shes not painted yet.

I gotta double check ride height but yeah it's close to ride height in that picture. Might be 1/2" low because my shock simulators are 11.5" long should have made them 12" but I was tired this morning and didn't think to add for the tube notch.

Why so much toe?...more like 1/16" or less sticks in my mind....I will look when I get to the laptop

confirmed....1/16" toe in

caster

manual steering...... 2.5* to 3* positive
power steering.......4* to 6* positive

camber

right......1/2* negative
left........1/4* negative
(I set mine @ 0* ...both sides. More of a drag racing spec and not so much to compensate for road crown)

Daaaaaaaaayyyyuuuummmm! That looks excellent John! Sucks about the little scar on the fender, but we all know you'll get that squared away quickly.

Denny: The positive caster should help returnability, but slightly increase effort required hence the difference between power and manual specs, correct?

.... you pay attention..... go the head of the class

Car looks amazing. Can't wait to see it finished. I personally love the air bag / lowering on almost any older mopar.

Am I going to get to see it in Illinois next weekend
when I haul Denny's Duster over?

MoPower Madness 2013 CMC Mopar Car Shows & Swap
May 19, 2013 at Dupage County Fairgrounds 9am-4pm

Wish I could get there. It will be interesting to see John's super low
Dart and be able to view the HDK before the motor goes in.

Of course it will be an added bonus to see HemiDenny's silver Duster
out of it's natural habitat of NW Ohio.

Please take plenty of pics guys!
