[ame]http://youtu.be/bxuFFBKdf5s[/ame] this was the first time I had this car out in 4 long years

:sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2:

Really I normally power brake tell I cant see out the windows then let go of the brake.

Don't hate . What part of very first burn out dont you understand . Maybe I should brake in the engine befor burning it down . Give it time let me give it the oil change and I will redo the video . Anyway I loved it . Felt good to have a big block a body on the road again . So thanks for all the encouragement . Lol fo

So why was it turned sideways??? NOT real impressive.

I didn't do the video I was driving so I'm not sure what my friend with the cam was doing . Maybe He thought it would look better sideways .

Well lets see it . I have a lot of time and money in this car and built it all my self from rust bucket to what you see now. So taking an unknown car out and letting loose was not an option. Let me get a few miles on it and I will redo video . And this is a 4 speed car so side stepping the brake and clutch is not easy . So with that said put four years and close to 20,000 in a car and then burn it down on the first run . Roll control on its way

I enjoyed the video (even if it was sideways). The car sounds great and it had to feel great letting loose a little bit after all the work put into it.

Well, you didn't say anything in your first post about a fresh engine not even broken in yet, all you alluded to was that it was the first time in 4 years you've had the car out! You also didn't say that it was your first burnout EVER, or that the car was a four speed!!! That may have gotten you some love, from me anyway!! Don't take it personal, when you post a title about a burnout, I expected a nice big smoky burnout!! Maybe you should've waited until the motor was broken in so you could do it up right!!!

Sorry if my post offended you, not my intention! Ill shut up now!! Geof

I'm sitting here trying to figure out where that was shot. Looks like State Ave maybe?

Get it broke in and the bugs worked out, take it out in the country and flog the crap out of it!!

I guess a few of us forgot what our parents taught us about not having anything nice to say...

It went better than my first burn out in my truck! It wheel hopped so bad I thought the bed was going to bounce off. Adjusted the pinion angle and stickier tires. Then I snapped the u joint! Lol.

Looks good, sounds better. It is such a joy just to hear your project fire up after months or years of blood, sweat, and tears.

I second that...How was anyone to know all of what you have been through if you do say anything?

Motor sounds really healthy and the tires were spinning clear down the block. Get her tuned up, broke in, and line lock installed. Then we'll see the smoke!
tmm

I watched it and assumed the obvious.
1) car in all primer
2) unfinished body work
3) no fuel cap
4) sounds like open headers
5) stating first time driven in 4yrs.

To me it was obvious it was a project that was finally back on the road.

Where is YOUR burnout video???? :wack:

I thought it was good, car sounds nice too :glasses7:
I dont see YOURS either????:wack::wack::wack::wack: But if I was to do one all you would see is smoke.1st through 2nd gear of my automatic and not in a brake stand either... I've got way to much money in my car to satisfy your fantasy.. Money talks and BS walks.I race for money, not fun, and burn outs are for traction only in that race...Bill:burnout:

Regardless of lask of burnout or not I can't figure why it's in Members Restoration, wheres the progress? kind of like other people that post one off questions here...or bicycles, E bodys, B bodies, vintage toys ect.....

I have several burnout videos posted here on this site, some are burning rubber in all 4 gears :burnout:

My guess is that its in the member restorations because it sounds like he just finished up the restoration and this was his first time out!!
