Has anyone heard from Del? Its been a long time since I've seen him post. I know and understand people need a break from the site and if that is the case I get it. He has helped me with my car a lot, although he may not know that. I look up to him and his knowledge, I just would like to know if he is ok.
 
I was wondering where our electrical guy went ......he is a contributor of tech.

hope he comes back

Hes still here and im glad,,,,,,,,,he dosent have a problem trying to help anyone. I know he has for me. Dont understand harsh words in this regard at all..just dont post. I believe the question was" Has anyone heard from him or is he alright? Not what you may think of him........JM2C
 
I sent him a PM last week and he replied and has been doing good, has some projects to do and is taking a break....I hope he comes back too :glasses7:

Glad to hear that! I figured it was only a break but just wanted to make sure.
 
Everybody needs a break once and a while. Sticking around here to much can get you a bit crabby while other things fall into disrepair.
 
Del has always been strait forward and willing to help all who has asked.

Very glad he is here.
 
Sure he has help a few out and has pissed of more Quote you need to get a MANUAL we all are not the mopar gods the best advice comes from someone who has been there to offer there help not saying you need a MANUAL bullshit.:wack:there was a young fellow who needed help he ran him off the board with get a MANUAL.
 
I'm always glad when I see Del post in a help wanted thread because I know he is giving complete, accurate information! Yea, its usually over all of our heads, but he's always willing to share! Yes, he says "get a manual" to a lot of people, but you know what??? He's right!! If you're going to work on these cars and you don't understand things like electrical and the like, get a manual!! A lot of the questions people ask could be answered simply by using the manual, and when he chimed in it certainly helps to be able to follow along with a manual!!

I too hope he's alright, I know he's not in the best of health and I always worry about him doing things that may aggravate his health even further!! Geof
 
Del has be insanely helpful to me. Absolutely awesome. :thumbup: We must have exchanged at least a dozen or more PM's when I was wiring the cut-off switch and relay's into my Duster. I'm positive he must have gotten sick of some of my ridiculous questions (I am NOT electrically minded), but he ALWAYS helped sort things out. I probably would have burned my car to the ground without him. ;)

And as a result of all of his efforts, I'm VERY happy with how my trunk mounted battery, cut off switch, and relays work. Even more so as I add in things like my dual electric fans, as I can add them easily and my wire harness can actually take the load.

Maybe he told you to get a manual, because you needed to get a manual? They're darned helpful in a lot of situations. Just sayin'.

Ha ha ha :D probably.

I remember one time he told someone what they needed to do and he was really short with them.
I told him that if the information he just gave them was a plate of food they would have it all over them.
After telling people the same old thing time after time after time, anyone would get tired of it I guess.
Especially when that information is in the MANUAL. :)
 
Snake, he has pissed me off a few times. I'm sure I did piss him off a few times as well.
Bottom line, we still will talk. Once the weather comes around to spring time again, we will have probably pissed each other off a few more times. But I know he would help me out.

Last we spoke, he just asked me to start a thread so it would be easier to follow and help since PM's can be a pain to provide help with.
 
Yep, I've gotten the "get a manual" from Del also.. You know what I did.. Went and bought myself hard copies and downloaded the digital ones. I still couldnt figure out what I needed but Del explained it all so that I did understand it.

I just hope he is enjoying his time away and getting things caught up at home!
