Wife just asked me to turn it on. I was done with it after an hour yesterday. Just enough to hear the actual details about what happened. Terrible situation that needs to be dealt with, but me watching it ain't gonna help. I already know they are a-holes.

As a way to ease my depression I stopped listening to the news in the car going to work. One, it made me feel less bad about the state of the world and two, the silence was soothing. Now, I hardly follow the news at all. And, like you say, it makes very little difference.
 
I have learned to be ok with it - - def gotten a lot better at it over the years..

I usually have it on for the traffic and weather in the morning as I drink my coffee catch up on FABO before work. I don't pay much heed to most of it. I try to glean out the 'facts', but that's not easy when they make entire stories without any.

Good news is that looks like i may have the time this week to get the new rear suspension in the car
 
I just went and stared at my suspension parts and realized I wasn't going to get anywhere without new upper ball joints. New ones are SEK 500 each over here, I just ordered a pair from Rock Auto for a total - shipping included - of SEK 268.

The Box will pay for itself now, no doubt. If the USPS people don't crack it open tossing it in a bin along the way, spilling the contents over the runway.

Would any of you pay $500 to change center section from a 3.23 limited slip 741 to a 489 with open diff 3.23:s?

The way I see it, the only practical reason would be to have a greater selection of gear ratios since I don't have too much torque for the 741.

Same here, Anders. I don't watch it on TV either, just makes me too angry and anxious.

Well good morning guys. All's well around here, hot. Yesterday was interesting, working on Sunday, get there and the power was out to the entire hotel. Not good when rooms are $600+ a night. Coworkers were all sitting around expecting they'd tell us "y'all can go home." I said that NEVER happens, worst case they'll make us help serve burgers outdoors in the heat, best case the power will come back on and we'll open up late. Which is what happened. I don't go back till Wednesday. Today will include a cocktail and swimming attire.

I just fixed the turn signal relay on our old Audi by removing it and putting it back in. Oxides on the contacts, I assume. I ordered a new one before testing it and got it today. Not sure I got the right one to replace it ...

I made a little upgrade to my compressor air filter. Replaced the funnel/towel solution with a (new but rinsed) car wash sponge. A little less conspicuous, perhaps?
