Mopar Neighbor bout to put me at wits ends or jail

Nope, the county Sheriff's Department has jurisdiction wherever in the county they are. Don't just assume incorrectly. Trust me. I know from past experiences.

Did that start of by you saying "hold my beer and watch this" ?

Dont know how it is where you live but I assume it is the same as here. Access cannot be denied a person to his property even if he owns only a lot centered in the middle of your 10000 acres. All else would have to be worked out between the parties.
Yote

Understood per say but the road is private and they will not issue citations cause there is no posted speed limit! It is a simple human respect thing they will not get involved in prior to someone like me that losses his mind and get Fed up to the point they decided to to maters in their own hand! Bad situation if you completely loose your cool!:elmer:

They will issue whatever they see necessary with signed statements asking something to be done from all of the people who use it AND the property owner, PLUS video evidence.

Are you just stupid or are you just trying to argue for the fuckin hell of it? You ASKED for help. Goddamn man I am giving it to you. Don't be a dumbass. I know what I'm talkin about here.

This is stupid. I'm done. You ask for help and then turn around and **** all over everybody's ideas. Genius.

You are correct! However the law allows you to slow the progress with automated gates etc as long as they do not require keys or access cards etc. but who wants to carry that expense when it really just a simple all Amercican respect issue!!!

No disrespect Rob, but I have already went that route and was disappointed to say the least!

We don't have a HMO but we do have a road association. Living on a orivate road has its advantages. The disadvantage is jack asses that don't live on the road usually. Highly unusual it's someone who lives on the road doing that crap.

You are correct, law enforcement won't do dick. Even if they could, I doubt they have time and resources. But bet your *** if you do something to him, they'll come have a chat with you.

I actually had an incident with a woman speed internet down our road while I was walking my dogs. After she sped by one way, I stopped her on the way out. I started bitching at her and sgphe to,d me to talk to her hubby. So I took her address and went and told him his wife was an ***. Haven't seen either one since.

Some folk you just can't be nice to.

Good point but it is private land and they do not have jurisdiction.

Of course they do, think of this as a Sears parking lot which you own. If you do a big dangerous smoky burnout on the Sears lot, and "they" don't like it, they will file a complaint with LEO, whoever that might be.

You can NOT deny him access if this is a legal easement/ right of way but you CAN require people to behave ON YOUR PROPERTY

I was going to suggest to put game camera on the road and then have it repaired accordly and billed to the person responsible.
Then I thought maybe he just showing off to show you what his mopar can do.....
Just shoot the SOB and be done with it...probably see no jail time and for sure your other neighbors will behave!

I like your 4X4 idea. Cops are not always the answer. Some diks just need to be treated as such to get the message. A couple nice big trenches across his entry would slow him down there anyway.

That's my plan right now. He might get the picture and easier than having to go to the big house for sure. Don't think he has even seen the PW it is hidden out back, only the 2015 Dually in the driveway he leaves piles of dust on regularly as well as the the Ford Fusion company cars my wife and I drive.

Dust.....hmmm......maybe you should oil the road! I know, nobody likes that, but it would play two parts!

Thought about that but have not researched the costs and if the county will allow it. Maybe even calcium chorilride they used to put down. Worth a better look for sanity! But still the speed is an issue for saftey.

Wish I could help you. Kinda got the same thing here.
My drive is connected to the drive that accesses the neighbor behind my house.
The bad news is that their drive is a little over 1/4 mile long. So they have a stretch to get a good head of steam going. The good news is that I'm not going to replace a single pebble because I only drive about 10 feet of it. The deed states that I own the driveway for aprox 700' and there is no easement. The property was all owned by a large family, so nothing was ever written up. I bought mine from a brother who couldn't stay in the house after his wife passed.
Get past the stretch that I own and the drive is ate up with pot holes. So you know they don't care about their cars.
Right now, I don't really care, but if anyone decides that I need to drop gravel, I'll close the lane and they can make a new drive. They do have road frontage, just a different road.

Sounds similar for sure. I am the first home off the county asphalt road and have an easement on the left side that is paved and an easement across the front that is gravel. I have 90' foot of concrete driveway off the front but take the bulk of dust from the other 6 homes down the way to right. When it is fairly rainy all is not bad short of the 100' of frontage to the gravel that gets tore up from the neighbors, but when dry as it has been for a while not only does the road get rough but We have constant dust all over our cars in the driveway and more. We are not to far off a major highway that sees speed of 85+. The county road to us is posted at 35MPH, but everyone still wants to run the hwy speed. Some folks just can not slow down after leaving the highway! I say that as leaving my drive is only about 30' to asphalt but I always run 35-40 on the road out to the highway!

U fortunately there's always at least one anus that makes it difficult for others !!
I have a neighbor that Sri rd like a retard !
Never had a speed bump on my road ,until people got sick of him driving too fast !!
Same guy put a fence 12' onto my property .
Asked him once to move it ,then he put up a sign with his families name .
I went down tried to be cival , he copped an attitude I told him I'm not asking I'm telling you your gonna move it , you have a week .
He moved it .
He won't even look at me it's been two years .
Sure wish he's go away !!

laws different in every state, that being said, did you sale these folks a right of way easement or just allow them access to there land? 2 totally different things here in nc! if thay have a right of way on there deed not one thing you can do but be neighborly and hope for peace! but if your just allowing access then you need to explain to him you can un allow it to...if rest your neighbors feel same as you a group carry more weight than a lone car nut! here in nc ive seen a redneck that raised hell in his yard with cars, big bonfires and drunks shooting all hours of night, rest neighbors carried it threw proper channels to court and ol boy had to vacate the house and land he owed a mortgage on till he could sale it...but how things work in ga idk

Add some strategically located potholes...give the other neighbors a map to where they are ;-)

I'm not sure what it's like there, but here it becomes a "Rightaway".

If someone has to use that road to leave their property it becomes a public Rightaway and you can't obstruct it (though you can post speed limit signs and set guidelines in place for etiquette.

We were on the other side of the fence here, when the neighbor above us tried to cut off our driveway (our driveway hugged the edges of each neighbors property above us, requiring about 3' of each neighbor's ground for our driveway). It wasn't a new concept either, all 3 homes had been there since the late 1800's early 1900's.

One particular neighbor felt the need to block the driveway and even went as far as cementing 4x4" Box Iron Tubes down the middle of the driveway. I was a little kid when my dad climbed into into his 440 Cuda, slammed it into 1st gear and pinned the throttle to the floor, mowing through those posts that ran up the center of the driveway.

It was then, after my dad went to court, that we learned it was a public Rightaway, and if my dad "wanted to be a dick" he could claim up to 18 feet to use for a Rightaway.

thot u were a Christian rusty !

Power Wagon is getting a little tune up this morning and some air in the tires to make it turn easier.

Here's my advice , first I am not in anyway a lawyer, nor an expert, just offering suggestions based on past experiences with easements.

Step 1: Post a speed limit sign(can be ordered online for cheap enough or purchase from county highway department) and place in the section of your easement that is owned by you.

Step 2: send each neighbor a certified letter advising of the speed limit and explain that if caught horseplaying and damage the road or your property, they will be held liable for any repairs (this way , he can't claim you were singling him out) keep the receipts from when they pick up their letters.

Step 3: record any future behaviors via you camera network

Step 4: if he continues, either contact a lawyer or send him a bill or both.

It's all about putting him on notice. That said be prepared for some retribution and threats. Lock your stuff(if you don't currently).
