Pipe dream motor swap: What would you bolt into your A-Body?

-
A 572 gen 2 Hemi with a crossram, backed by a Passon 5 speed and a 4:10 Dana 60 rear end would do me quite well.

I see a lot of perfectly reasonable upgrades...any thoughts on why you picked this particular transplant would be welcome. :D

Nobody has suggested the turbine from a '63 Chrysler turbine car yet? Nobody has considered the drive/power train from a Tesla P100D? Hmm... :)

on the cheap, a 5.0 and T-5 out of a Fox body. People are already Grafting the 8.8 in, why not go all da way...

For a weekend light to light sleeper electric would be nice (like 800 ft pounds would do)
As far as gas goes I'm pretty happy with the 5.9 but I just need both rear tires to turn at the same rate.:D

I just want a tunnel rammed, FI Tech topped, 408 with a Passon 5 speed in my next Duster. Likely a Dana 60 rear too.

I chose mine cause I bought a small block Mopar Tunnel Ram for cheap and I've wanted to find a use for it ever since. That single cheap part will hopefully have an entire car built around it. Just the way my twisted mind works!

Either a Hellcat drivetrain or a forged 6.1 Hemi with a Whipple supercharger and a 6 speed.

Keith Black aluminum street hemi (power-to-weight ratio, hemi cool factor, and KB hemi's were THE engine back in the 70's and early 80's when I first got into cars as a kid).

I do not have rom for much more engine in my 64 Dart, so i go for what i have. A cuda 340 block from 1973 With all the goodies stuff in it. And 360 AAWJ heads from 1971 and a B&M 172 forced induction blower with a 850 Mighty Demon on top... High RPM and no Stagging FUN FUN FUN :steering::thumbsup:

I'm working on mine also. 341 early Desoto Hemi, 10:1 custom forged pistons, Total Seal gap less rings, solid roller cam, 2.02 stainless SBC intake valves, 1.74 BBM stainless exhaust valves. Beehive springs, Hot Heads aluminum intake and 750 cfm Carter AVS, 340 recurved distributor and oil pump. Original rods, block, heads, crank, and rockers. Custom Charlie's oil pan, almost there. Transmission is an original Chrysler "A" body 4 speed with Passons Hemi O/D gear set. Original clutch linkage and Ansen blow proof bellhousing, McLeod 10.95 BW/Long clutch and pressure plate. 1964 Barracuda Hurst shifter and linkage. 8 3/4 3.91 Power Lok sure Grip in 742 housing. All in a 67 fastback Barracuda. I can't wait.

Twin turbo/EFI on a 500 inch low deck KB hemi, running e85/methanol and street drivable. Working towards that by building a 470 wedge to start with, will upgrade eventually.
500" low deck hemi, splain that to me !

It's a hemi, built on a low deck block?

Before KB changed hands and got backed up on orders, you could order a B deck version. Not sure when/if those issues will be straightened out.

Then there's the Indy MAXX which can be either B or RB and wedge or hemi - but I've read there's casting issues that need to be fixed. New owners DSR may be working on fixing that, if so they'll be a good source.

But lately Muscle Motors has a block available, which is probably the best choice on the market at the moment.
