We can do PIR if you want. I'm over on your side all the time anyway. I was just there Sunday and left yesterday at noon fifteen. I'll be back for the NWDRA swap meet at the end of the month.

I don't even mind going to woodburn. Just not July. I've spent so many days down there in the heat I'm just not into it that much.

All that said...it would be fun to do the Chrysler race in July. It's early. We will figure it out.

IDK if I'll be there in April. I have to be back at the doctor on March 1 so this year I may go to the BIG ONE.

I hate to sound like a snowflake, but April in Portland is the antithesis to woodburn in July. Rainy, cold, windy and just down right nasty. I'm sure my parents would be happy if I came over more.
 
Somebody has to video the pugilists. After this run up this should be epic!!!!!!!!!!

We can go around all day (and for some years on end!) Giving advice on cams- lift/lobe separation /duration blah blah, heads, valve grinds, adjustability of drag shocks, witch hole to adjust your ladder bar to to get less wheelie.... Yada yada yada...
BUT there comes a day when everyone would like to see the people giving such malarkey cut there junk loose on the 1/4.

Me crashing in to you! The nerve! Now you're dodging me! Just work on that pile of crap and get it together would you? You're all over the Forum here giving advice and not turning wrenches! In the time it took you to get home I've had two transfer cases in and out of my truck! I hope you found something today that will make your car not crash into mine!

I found a two nice ignition boxes, a couple of cool older cam catalogs, and a 5 dollar dial back timing light for my dumb *** cousin.

What time did you get there? We were first in line. And out the gate at 9:20. Back at the house at 9:35 as my cousin drives like a girl. I need to get out of there early so I can get back over here.

I'll be working on my car tomorrow. I'll finish lashing the valves, put on the valve covers, make a primary jet change, or maybe an IFR change. Tuesday the rear shocks go on and I wire in the new tach. Then it's on to the two step.

I'm right on schedule.

First in typical J par fashion, I went to the wrong place! LOL then I got there about 5 minutes before 8 and the line was way too long. So I thought I'd sit there and wait for few til the line got shorter, but I noticed the trucks and cars flooding in and thought well this ain't working too good. So I went and stood in line for about 20 minutes and I left there at 10. I got some metering rods and some stickers. Most important thing I did was run into the guy that has the grill for my truck. I just got to find a way to make him an offer that he can't refuse!

Yep...that line is a bear. I was thinking what the hell did jpar blow me off? if you would have sent me a text when you got there you could have cut the line and been in there right from the get go.
