Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yeah it always had a rear seal leak, not terrible but just annoyed me. Pretty much going over the whole truck, new rear wheel panels, new brakes/most lines, prob drop a distrib in it, did a new chain when I was in there also.
That is where they leak....Bad design IMO.

This must be my year for the battery. Replaced the beemer, mower, tractor, now the Goldwing.

I cannot believe how much a standard rebuild kit costs for them! Around 700, no frills.

Man there is a 63 413 for sale needs a bore kind of tempted but the rebuild would be $$$$$
if you went stock, sure. But IF the walls are thick enough, you could bore it to 426 where pistons are easier and cheaper to find. That said, get the block numbers off of it, it could be the performance block that was never turned into a max wedge. Those are high nickle content and worth a rebuild as they can go to 426 with ease

its due to the custom sized pistons.
Morning Duckboy!

Dam always wanted one just cant swing it right now. It is right near Rons other house also!:BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:

Morning. I use a safety spare in the pop because a 15" will not fit in the well, it fits flush.
Well figured since its a bigger show and getting judged better have a spare with jack stand. Usually don't have one in the well.

i bet if you offer him 250 or even a distributor for whatever his ride is, i bet you'd get it. 413s are pretty much the slant 6 of the big block world. As it sits, he'll be lucky to get 250.

Well wife threw a speed bump into her part of the trip. When she decided not to go she scheduled lawyer training she puts on for the Attorney General's office. She scheduled it for the 11th. She checked 30 people signed up, so no chance of moving the date. I told her I'd see her when she got there. I suggested she fly into Harrisburg, and catch a cab to the room, only 11 miles away. She'd rather I wait a couple days and go later...ugh....still up for discussion...I think. She's playing in a golf tournament today, hopefully she plays well. That's always a good time for me to get her to agree to a good idea.

Bummer. My best round in a LONG time, on a long course Sunday, shot an 88. From the White tees.

Mike...Hey...Got some STRONG coffee for you....Called Dark magic... A sample with the new Keurig yesterday.
Coffee/ caffeine is a strange thing. I can have 2 or 3 mugs in the morning and get drousy at 10am, lay down and take a 20 min. snooze but if I have a cup at 5pm, I have a hard time sleeping. I don't mind strong coffee but it's just like craft beer, you son't drink a 12 pack. LOL

She averages 82-84. When I'm playing on a regular basis average 80-82. She enjoys golf more than I do. We play a few couple tournaments every year.
