Gonna be a fall race pretty soon. Maybe you could like back out of the driveway and compare times?
 
I think you should sell videos of the race. Do a best of 3 and sell separately! (I get 10% for the idea.)

I'm down for that if you know someone who is good enough to make a decent video of it. Hell, my tires are old enough I'd even be in for a burnout contest.

I could always take him down to Oregon steel. We used to have it marked off. At one time there was more than one way in and out of there. Last time I was there it was only one. Can't go to Alcoa as that's been down for a while.

I don't know anywhere else around there to do it.

First let me comment on the comment you made on the thread that you made up about this thread LOL as much as you may think that I don't like you or I'm against you.
Please point out to me exactly where I said that someone needs to finance everything? That I expect you guys to pay for everything? All it takes is one knucklehead like you to twist everything all up.
Okay you need a simple idea for your simple mind? I do not want nobody sending me nothing personally. Here you go. All started out by sending $2 to Jericho if I can do that via some kind of money order or just call him up and Nick my card for 2 bucks great. I would say the first 20 people, which is what $40? For a gold membership should go to Yellow Rose. Then after 20 people have given their $2 we will see yellow rose with a new gold membership? He will receive no money nor will I. This should get people's hopes up that there would be quite an obligation on Yellow Roses Part to start really getting ready. Then all of a sudden I get a gold membership and people are like you guys owe us? And then all of a sudden we see yellow rose post up a picture with his for a bodies only t-shirt and now you guys are like we want our money's worth! And then I post up with my new t-shirt and of course Jericho post up real quick and says to stop sending money the race is paid for! Now yellow rose and I show our faces on this forum without a racw we sure wouldn't be worth a pinched after that?
Well then of course yellow rose and I are obligated to spend three times that much money to make the race happen. And 800 times more time then it takes to mail out two Bucks.

At the end of the day remember all these donations go to for a bodies only in the worst case scenario. And all the promotion. I can't see this but a win-win For the Forum?
 
I will pay for jpar's trip to Yakima, lol but if YR loses, he pays me 500 bucks. by the way, I will be there to watch and collect. if jpar loses he reimburses me and adds another 200 bucks. sound fair gents.

How did I get caught up in all the gambling? I think jpar would love renegade. I know several PDX guys that come over here for the laid back race atmosphere and a kind, gentle family surrounding.
 
Hell... if this keeps going I'll drive my rust bucket up there and we can line up three wide....

In all serious tho a FABO race would be awesome! We could even do a mini drag week thing. West coast, midwest and east coast events.... although let's get real no one wants to go to the east coast.... or the midwest....

Closest thing we have now is the small block race, had a few that made a pass so far...

Well I can fully appreciate what you're doing with those races and of course I participated last year, they're really can be no substitute for lining a couple members up with a video

See This is highly all unnecessary again two bucks! And I will start it off...
 
If the amount of time it takes yellow rose to get is scatter Shield certified is any indication of his reaction time I'll be at the end of track eating a sandwich before he even sees the green light go on!

Your Right! there is no substitute for member side by side racing with a video for members entertainment!!

I took the YR road :poke: on my wife's Ramcharger.... Just got it going this week (9 months). :D
Only I didn't open my check book ….
And if I lived an hour from ya, we'd make a video.... Ramcharger vs the more purposeful truck !!!
And when folks from FABO didn't have nothin' to do for the whole entire evening, they could sit down and watch us race a marked 1/4 mile...

I'd swing by YellowRose and hook a chain to his '89 Dodge 4x4, drag it with him out in the street and make another video...………
unless he wrote me a check to unhook the chain and leave it in the driveway.... :D

I would be in for eastcoast and maybe the midwest. But didn’t the west coast succeed from the union?:)
