Mitch...I saw someone called you Mitchel last night...I didn't know that was your name. I thought Mitch was an abbreviation for Mopar itch! or Mopar *****. So wowo I learned something,

I gotta take a road trip to Indiana today to get three big block oil pans and a set of BB valve covers...

Is below freezing. Need frost now to help dry things up, as we arent getting any drying weather until may.
All the soy beans are still on the fields, farmers have been waiting over a month to finish harvest.

Hey a question for the brain trust.
I want to clean up and paint that area between the back edge of the dash pad running across the dash and the window.
To do it am I better pulling the front window, or pulling the dash pad back??
Of course I'll have some professional help.

I am not sure you can pull the dash without pulling the windshield....but then I am not professional help

Morning guys. Just talking on our local drag strip retro group. The admin changes the feature photo weekly and then the stories and photos come out. Lots of fun. War Horse is this weeks topic of discussion. 6.20's in the 1/8 equates to 9.80's in the 1/4. Pretty quick for the early 80's.

I don't know either. The guy restores the car a few years ago. He spent 4K on the dash and bezels, looks great. He leaves that space I described and it looks 50 years old, the only bad spot on the car. Why, why, why...????

I think you could do a good job with just pulling the windshield....

Going to be tough to get in there, some sort of enamel that will flow flat and a foam brush?

Oh hang on, I need to warm up my coffee and turn on the TV its time for church.

I've looked at it and just don't think I can do it right that way. First think I got to do is get it cleaned up before I can paint it.

I just took the dash out of the wrecked 74 swinger and believe me it is not an easy job. To tilt it back to paint it you need to remove the windshield to get at the front bolts. Like Hoppy says enamel and a brush
