Stop in for a cup of coffee

There is no way I would cut a convertibles windshield gasket, they are not available in the aftermarket and they are different..
Talked to a guy this evening who had a 67 vert.
He replaced his using a 67 barracuda convertible front windshield gasket from Route 66 reproductions.
No problems, fit well he said.

Well, being is has been in the 20's at night, I felt it was time to pull the pump from the pond/waterfall until spring. So quiet on the patio now. Then temporarily installed my front engine plate until tomorrow.

So took the windshield trim off and gently pushed it out??
Yes. Although I didn't help on the removal.

My G Wagoneer I did help with the removal. A little different in that there's no plastic lockstrip, but yes best I recall we just pushed it out. Don't recall using any special tricks. I did make a couple of thin wood wedges in case we needed 'em. But I don't recall using them.

Man, we are dealing with such a crappy contractor that has been doing our siding/stone work.. Im about 99% sure they did the stone work wrong and now we are susceptible to water intrusion. Its been like pulling teeth to have them finish the QC on the house and this just tops it off. We signed the contract with them back in June and its still not done, and sadly I think the stone work has to be tore off and redone.

Not good.

Quick drive by, evening all. Things are not exactly good at the moment, watch the news down south and you'll see where I'm heading. Can't give any other specifics. Catch ya later
