It's Willys Wednesday :D

So news, As you know my little sister passed Sunday. She has, had a 14yo son, Colin. He has been staying at his fathers moms house. Well, I get a call from my brother yesterday. Seems years ago, when Colin was a baby, Greg and Andrea, my brother and his wife, signed a notarized document saying they would take custody of Colin in the event of our sisters death! Well, Colin and his grandmother show up in Indio, where my brother is working, Grandma is trying to dump the poor kid off on them!!! Be careful what you sign!! He is 14 now and a real terror. I told Greg I would swap my kids for his one kid! Damn our sisters! Did I just say that? :BangHead:

Indio? that's a place?

Sorry to hear Tim about your sister. (I didnt backread)
Hope that works out for the best with the custody. Not good that the father's mom doesn't want to raise the kid.

Didn't even let the dust settle

I use that style for the fields wind generator. They are actually pretty well made. Just have to change out the rotor to make it work at low speed. Think I get around 5 amps out in low wind, have seen 40 in high winds.
Need more info....

My sister did not want the father to raise Colin, or his family. BUT that was years ago, they were not married. Now they were, so James should take care of HIS son. But the document is in place.....so...

Well Bonnie was right to think Colin would do best with my brother, BUT Greg's youngest is 24 yo! Pretty big ask! Like our older sister and her kids. And me!

Just got off the phone with the Mr. Norms car owner. Interesting one of nine know to still exist. He will send some pics.

Thanks. I just got paid I have to show you pics of this one unbelievable looks like it just came out of a mopar box!

Just going to hunker down today and work in the shop I guess. Way to much uber this week, most of the day Mon, half a day yesterday. Canceled mine today, Friday 3/4 of a day. Getting to be way to much on me. Time to get her a self driving tank!
Glad I got that junk yard run in yesterday. That 30miles West. Gonna get a bit more snow than here.

Have to look actually. Always see them stopped on the side waiting for the track to free up I guess. Lots of lumber and coal moved through here.
Never paid much attention to names, but I'd bet you could find about every major rail represented in the Reading area.

I couldnt do it. Kind of a meat and potatoes guy. I think i would starve. And sense of smell plays a part with my appetite. If i dont like what i smell its all over.
Is that fish I smell?

Craigs list might be the place for that. The members here know the prices.
Craig has his own list? Cool

Trashy Suburban Babes. Got Pics?

Found I have some 40/60, some killed acid along with nokode, so looks like I'm set to fix this when things clear.

What exactly are we fixing ?

I have one of the huge soldering irons I have used in a pinch. Brazing is the best if you have access to a torch.
I have a big old iron that was dad's. Haven't plugged it in, so not sure what kind of heat it is capable of.

If they're in good condition...
And as long as you can store them without a monthly fee. That's where can get expensive with inventory that doesn't move quick...
Time to rebuild the chicken coop. @halifaxhops
Brazing is easy think of soldering. No welders googles needed either. Great for exhaust work because you just heat it up to take it apart. I Want to do the Pop that way, way to many clamps now with the x pipe. Just looks like crap.
#5 isn't that dark. easy to use them. I see guys that don't but that's one I've been good about.
Haven't done much, but I think #5 green goggles is what we used.

That's what I figured - stud was hit. Thats the type of junk I've bought from A1 Cardone.
Nope. And because it was assembled like, then nut holding it to the rectifier came loose.

The junk rectifier doesn't fit well and the hole through the insulation is way off center.
I'm lucky the output stud didn't touch the case.

That would have taken out the fusible link.
loose nuts, hit the stud, way off center, didn't touch...
But as long as you were able to use a junk rectifier. It's all good.

Yes sir. It was just tight enough to work for a while. It was only finger tight
Depends how long 'a while' was. As long as you got 'er done.

Its a shame everything went downhill, they used to make good rebuilds.
fixed
I have been rebuilding most of my stuff for a while now. Even have a kit for the water pump on the Cuda. Have not done one of those since the 80's.
Never did a water pump. Have done starters and alternators. Local motor shop used to stock all the kits.
Thanks. I'd like to think a GM Company would care about their QC but since its not going in any current production vehicles it's probably just a fantasy

Sorry, triple pic
No apology needed. She does like to show her assets.

Wow. Was actually thinking 'does she have kids and where will they go? '

Just got back left before the snow hit and on the way home it is a white out!
Snow is really dumping here. Just had the pup out and scraped an inch off at the back door. It's completely white again.

Good morning...been out early taking care of the neighborhood driveways. Had to clean off our cars and truck.
Had the truck scheduled for the yearly oil change and its done.
Not much else going on here waiting for the snow to melt...again!!!
