I am writing from the inside. This place is eerie feeling today. The virus has no effect in here yet but inmates on edge.

Good morning, very mild and overcast day here. Fury just turned 65,000 miles, 1/3 of those miles are from me. When people approach me now, they'll say "I see this car all the time." Out here near the beach where I live, the stores are keeping up, the dollar store still has the cheap brands of cold meds etc. Crazy thing is I have a cruise booked for my sister and me from Tampa to Barcelona leaving April 18. Always wanted to cross an ocean, lose track of time, relax and play card games, read, eat, drink whatever I want etc. Turned 60 last week and instead of a big celebration, all hell broke loose! :wtf:
 
Good morning all. Just getting moving here. Woke at 4:30 and couldn’t get back to sleep for a while. Finally did and got another 4+ hours :thumbsup:
 
I have 2 days vacation. Just using them up. Was going to do my water pump seal, but probably put that off till next Monday also a vac day. Gonna head across the street to the Surplus Grocery and try my luck.
 
Working on oil filter adapter for the fargo. Bracket made,just need to build the lines. Then ign coil, need to find a ballast resistor.

Back from the discount grocery. Was surprised to find bottled water and eggs. :thumbsup: They even had TP! (I did not get any - not being a greedy hoarder) One thing I have not seen in stores for almost a week now is bread. Did they quit baking, or what?:wtf:
 
Morning all. They canceled just about everything in our area and the grocery stores are bare even in the village by the house as people from Austin and San Antonio are ranging far and wide to horde more groceries.
Thank God we have Chickens, Sheep and can hunt silently as well as legally.

I am going out to pick up a few things today just in case. No hoarding though. We have plenty in the cupboard and freezer to last a few weeks or more. It would be good to clean it out a bit.

Just checked the freezer. No regular bread, but a few different types of rolls. So will use up some of those before they get freezer burned too bad...Gonna grill some burgers. Then go fill the spare gas bottle. Probably swing into the discount grocery again and see if the got any bread. I'm down to a few slices of weat bred. Everything else is just 'white'. That and maybe a pack of hot dogs, noticed there were none in the freezer.
 
L I B The Chumash Casino on the reservation in Santa Ynez has closed it's doors until 3/31 upon which time they will re-evaluate the status of the Covad 19 virus situation. One of the largest employers in the Santa Barbara County and they will continue to pay their employees. Gambling business is good for the tribe.
 
Oil filter installed and connected. No leaks,bonus points for that. But engine is creating metal filings. Only a couple hours run time since i removed pan for the second time and cleaned it. Lack of zinc in the oil,maybe?
