Stop in for a cup of coffee

Well, Im back from the grocery store, with all the mask and glove wearers........I hadn't been out the driveway in a few weeks....Not much happinin out there.....

nope, interstate traffic is slim to none
Traffic has been picking up around here for the past week.
Friday I drove up to the painters shop to retrieve the defroster vents, and it was pretty nuts on the interstates. Surekill expressway and the Turnpike both had the usual mix of 50 mph in the center with 80 mph drivers wherever the felt, etc etc - and that included truck drivers. Gas milage from the trip won't be anything to boast about. Flying box! And parts of the Surekill were closed completely for weekend construction. Fortunatley heard that on the news radio, so missed the parking lot scene. Then found old state road was also closed for construction, so got a scenic drive through old estates. That part was nice.

Depending who you want to listen to...Sounds like the state would like to have it mandatory, but not enforcable? However, you ain't getting in most stores around here without one. See some people wearing them driving alone in their car. :wtf:
Yup. Guess for some its just easier to put them on and leave 'em on. Or its just what they do when they go out. I put one on when it makes sense, like going into a shopping area or even walking the sidewalks when I can't walk real wide of others (which is very rare).

We go to Yellow on Friday. Not sure exactly what that means to me. I think mostly more businesses are allowed to open.
I saw that for York. It's prob on the state website. Prob everything that can keep things safe, but not bars and movie theaters and such.

Yep I used to really like going to Home Depot and Lowe's. Right now it's been a nightmare lines and overcrowded. I think because a lot of other stores were closed. I haven't been in about a week. Hopefully a little better now that a lot of other things are opening up.
Funny. I have hated HD. Checkout got even worse last year - which I didn't think was possible. I buy almost all my lumber and material at Dela. County Supply - an old school yard, with hardwood and a real shop.

Don't mention "hardwood" around Hoppy!

With a SOHC motor! A A/FX car I see. Must be before all the altered wheelbases. LOL

For an A/FX car .. not even a sign of injector stacks through the hood

Think this had anything to do with the name of the car?

Traffic has definitely picked up here. I think a lot of peopl saw ‘go to Yellow’. ,and missed the ‘next Friday’ part. Either that or because the weather got nice end of last week they said F it.

I can tell you from the harness in my car that there is very little extra wire, in some cases none, to cut off and crimp a new terminal.

Should have used the next smaller one although this held tight.

Same here. Spent part of yesterday trying to find the official county policy :BangHead: . All they wanted to say was no large congregations in the county parks :BangHead:.

hell we're still red. But construction reopened in the city - supposedly only with safe practices in place - and I think I lot of people of all economic and cultural backgrounds and ages - have the f- its. Which if so, totally sucks because that will definately lead to a second wave. :(

A soldered "W" crimp with heat shrink. Stronger than the wire itself! Nicely done.
Followed the Chrysler splice instructions that Del linked to some time back. even used the heat shrink with glue inside. Then painted the outside with liquid electric tape for better abrasion resistance.
That was definately easier and better than uncrimping the terminals on the key accessory and headlight dimmer wires.
On the one I just just reinforced the insulation and recrimped. On the first, the insulation was so bad, removed a bunch of it, then cut some new insulation for the terminal crimp to grap, then soldered and heat shrink. Might have been better to have made a loop of 12 gage with a new terminal and spliced it on.

My youngest son is going through a transformation. Not fun here!
It is becoming more and more accepted. I wonder were we missing something years ago and being closed minded and sometimes cruel or is it something happening today that makes one question their own self and how they have been made? It is confusing to me and I do feel sorry for those struggling with the decisions they are making

I am having a hard time understanding why. It will be tough for me to accept it.

Still your Child, Mike. I know many of us don't care for it. Just Love Him.
What I have found with those I have worked with as a Therapist is even after they are not happy with themselves still. I agree continue to love him
