Hey guys,

Want to get this chrome trim for front windshield.

https://www.classicindustries.com/product/all-years/plymouth/barracuda/parts/ma820229.html

Says it will work with 67’ barracuda but have to use 68’ style clips and screw in studs.

where do I get those?

and do I also need a new windshield gasket? (Attached is mine)

Yes 67 cuda has "mylar lockstrip" pricey and a shitty 1 year design(we have a 67).
Changing to 68/9 is a wise choice.
BUT pricey. Go with a "Precision" 68/9 gasket. Pay the $$.
So gasket, clips, stainless trim.
@69FBCuda has trim for sale.
@RPM440+6 is a good member here and a distributor. He can hook you up with gasket/clips.
Dont get sucked in with cheaper parts for this. Use a quality gasket(Precision). Like I said rpm440+6 will give you the straight goods.

Perfect thank you!! Is there any metal trim options for the rear window? I have a notchback

No problem Roger, glad to help. Ibelieve same scenario for rear trim. BUT there is no aftermarket notchback stainless trim. Probably have to find used and that stuff is pricey!

For the '67 A-Body applications with the correct mylar insert, you will want to purchase a Precision WCR D690 B gasket. The mylar insert is purchased separately and the number is WSL 690 B. If you should decide to go with the gasket for the stainless trim, the Precision gasket is WCR D690. The only gasket available for the notchback application is the style that uses the stainless trim as found on the 68 and 69 applications. The Precision part number is WCR DB4076.

Precision is the only manufacturer of the correct mylar inserts. It is a rigid piece and not a flexible lock bead as used on other applications. Some guys have used the flexible style with mixed results. The mylar insert for the fastback rear window is back available again. We had one customer who bought this insert in the hopes of modifying it to fit his notchback application, but I have no ideal on how it turned out.

As for the Precision gaskets in general, we have sold hundreds of the WCR D690 and WCR DAB4076 and have to say that the quality is very good. Most of the issues have been with incorrect installation procedures.

@RogerCox , I will send you a message.

Rear window stainless reveal from a 68 or 69 donor is rarely available and sells for 300 to 500. I bought a incomplete set and waited years for the one missing piece to come to me. Staying with the 67 type may be the best plan. Good luck
p.s. I like the red piping in the seat covers.

If you want to stay with the '67 lockstrip for the rear you can buy them from YO and probably other venders. Then gently heat and shape the ones for the curved section. Hair dryer or heat gun with low heat settings and lots of patience. I did it years ago and got one perfect, broke the other. Fortunately I found an NOS one at Englishtown swap meet, saving me the neccesity of buying another set and making another attempt. I bought the repop from Mitchell's - yea - the Frank Mitchell because he was the first and for a while only vender with the correct lockstrip.

I want to have the front and rear window like this.

Can someone message me who sells exactly what I need to do this, looks great!

Thanks

Also anyone have a link to the bumper guards from that video, can’t find those either ‍♂️

I dont know if the bumper guards are reproduced. Parts wanted post Might get you some used ones. You need to drill holes in the bumpers to add them. OEM had drawing/instructions/measurements in the box. You can put the front ones at bumper bolts. Rear ones will land right in front of reverse lamps of 67 and 69 if mounted at bumper bolts.
