I missed this hemlock that had snapped. The top went over the fence and the most of it lodged between two alders, had to winch it out. I dragged it alongside the standing tree and when I dropped the stander it landed on the tree I was on, didn't get launched but I thought I was going to...with a running chainsaw in my hands lol!

Careful Dude , you aint that old, as you say you are.....

That tree fellin can be dangerous.

Last summer I was dropping a dead standing alder, nicked another tree on the way down, broke off the top which was rapidly headed my way. I had an escape route, always clear the ground around me so I don't trip when I'm running for my life : ) I should have dragged that other section of hemlock completely clear of the felling area, lesson learned.

Just going through messages, usually busy on the weekends. Great Mews Mitch! See I read to the top of the page!

hahaha I like it..

Grimace actually came from Rainy. I've got to give her the credit.. One its purple, two the car made me grimace a lot because of the first engine build (crappy engine) and it not running right. Figured it was pretty fitting and served two purposes.

sad to hear. What do you mean if you return? Where are you heading?
