Is a FABO App for cell phones possible?

I was wondering how hard it would be to produce a cell phone App for FABO. It would be nice to be able to quickly get on the forum on my cell phone.
 
I really only use my IPhone for FABO. Open the web page and sign in. Been using the DuckDuckGo browser app for a few years and works well.
 
I must undoubtedly be in the minority, because I ABSOLUTELY DETEST navigating the internet on my phone. I don't even like to text.
 
Why do you need an app? The website’s software works just fine with the browser on your phone. At least it does on mine…

I viewed this thread, screen captured the image of me viewing this thread, and uploaded the picture into my reply all from my phone.

What would you want an app to do different?

That's kinda my point. The software this site uses works really well for the mobile browsers. Probably close to half the time I'm on the board it's from my phone. It would be more but most of my reference material and pictures are on my desktop.
 
I've used apps on a couple forums in the past. They were horrible. Regular chrome browser on my phone works great.

95% phone use here
 
Browser works fine. I’ve got too many dang apps as it is and most work better in the browser than they do the app

100%. Some other forums I have used use Tapatalk. I think it's because the software the forum uses isn't mobile device friendly. This site obviously has better software because it looks the exact same on my phone as it does on my laptop.
When I am on a break at work, waiting at an appointment, in the delivery room during my son's birth, at church, .... I can get on my phone's Safari web browser (Information Phone 6S) and geek out. I don't know about you Motorola and LG users. Google Chrome?
Often, I prefer my phone because that's where my pics are. Otherwise, I would have to email the pic to myself and get on my laptop, save the file, upload it to FABO. From a phone you can go straight from your photo album to the "Upload Photos" tab. Straight shot. I've even had my phone in hand while being on FABO with my laptop just to boom a pic from my photo album into a thread.
I am thankful that this website is mobile device friendly.
 
Chome on the phone is unbearable due to all the google ads taking up huge blocks of real estate. I use ad free browser but some flash stuff doesn't work, ie editing posts. Firefox is pretty good on a cell phone. Im about 80 laptop/20 phone but I too send pics to laptop to post online. I just got a larger phone (S21) so maybe the keyboard will work better as the old S9 I spent more time correcting fat finger spelling than posting.
 
I am 100% IPad on the forum. Works well most of the time, but has occasional issues opening links.
 
@harrisonm , I use my phone all the time when I am away from my laptop. The phone version I would consider a phone app because it does have some limits to functions. I am on my phone now. It works great and it is fast.
 
I only use my phone, I don't know how to computer.
But loading videos & songs to rob r threads would be nice
 
I cannot bring myself to use my phone. I see so many people out and about just totally ignoring life around them completely engulfed in their phone. I'm not gonna be those people. I leave my data turned OFF on my phone unless I know someone is going to send a picture of a car or part they want help with. I also turn my phone either OFF or vibrate only when we go out. I want to be with my WIFE when we're out, not my phone.

I use my phone & I'm not one of those people
 
My wife would rather look at her phone than me. But then again, maybe a sign of good taste…..
 
Well, I guess I'll just suck it up and spend the few extra seconds it takes to get on the Forum. Although I do agree with RRR, I don't like doing things (other than checking Email and Googling things) on my cell phone. I am a 95% laptop person on everything else.

Is it just the signing in thing? You can put a link to the site on your home screen, click the icon and viola, on the site
