Ya, i has to start the plow truck and do some cleanup. At least to get Fargo out of shop and back into storage.

Morning, two warm days, then cooling off on Wednesday, then get some snow on Friday.

All you retired guys take a nap? Last day ‘off’ for Christmas here. Checked my stove pipe and got it burning. Stacked wood n the basement. Guess I will take a ride and return the drill set to Homely Deepo…

Howdy all. Swapping over to days since I have to run as Chief for a couple of weeks.
The normal Chief is home as his wife is in the hospital.

Wow. Lumber shot back up since the 7th of December. I bought 24 2x4x8s construction grade, 6.78 a pop. And I felt I was getting raped then. But I ended up needing 6 more. Went today, 13.10 a piece for the exact same dang thing.

Wow. Crazy. Not here yet...

Well so far just under 6 inches of snow and now it rains. Geesh! I hope it does not freeze. It's not supposed to

Well decided to go home while I could, I got a mile or so of gravel road between two very large fields to get home. The wind howls thru there and creates huge drifts. If I had stayed in town another hour not sure I could have made it home. Threw her in 4 lock dropped hammer and drove by wire thru! Zero visibility, I was praying somebody was not stuck in road I would have piled them. I won’t try that again till the plows start catching up. Oddly enough gravel roads don’t get priority. Hah! Blizzard warning most of the day, roads still shut down. Sitting in the shop listening to Jamey Johnson, sipping some bourbon letting the wind howl. Me n Hemi don’t care, we will emerge tomorrow!

:BangHead::BangHead:Man. I’ve never fought a U joint cap this difficult. I need it to move about 1/16 more so I can get the clip in. No the pins haven’t moved or fallen down. Already checked that ... several times.

Good to hear you made it back! I’m back from an uneventful ride to Homer Deepler. Added wood to the stove and enjoying a ‘Kentucky Coffee’
