16 F below freezing
x 1.8
is about 28* C below freezing.
I do that right?
Hard to interpret your method. 16 f is below freezing, -18c is 0f
-16f is -27c
I like to keep it confusing…

So whether im covid + or not, i feel fine. Im in shop diagnosing an oil leak on a cruze. Young lady did her own oil change and said its leaking now. Been running an hour and nothing is out of the ordinary. My mind is telling me she spilled a bunch when filling it. Easy to do in these motors.

Once you get past the panic and deranged control garbage it's the flu.... You can have the flu and function just fine. Different strokes

My concern is contacts. Where did it come from and who have we made contact with since?

the stupid covid app does absolutely nothing, and contract tracing is 100%bs.

So question what's sparkplug would you use to time your engine on a 318 if the timing marks on harmonic balancer 180° off

Run timing light on cyl 6?
Thinking....I an using a 360 balancer with early timing chain cover. I had a timing tape on it. It flew off right away. So I brought number one to TDC and marked the balancer with a sharpie at
0 degrees using the marker on the cover. It runs fine. But I cannot see the line I put in the balancer. So I am thinking I somehow marked it 180 out...

Ehhhh. Just time it by ear. Usually works best

Well..I'm out. Leaving LA now. 12 hours in the air to Tokyo....see yaz on the other side.....

No. Its a virus that is frequently more deadly than the the typical flu virus. It also sometimes leaves longer term damage than the seasonal flu viruses. Not that any of that matters to TJ's point. Its a virus he doesn't want to share.

Yes. You can have it and function just fine. And since we now know how it spreads and how to deal with it, there's no need to lock ourselves in closets. If TJ feels well, he can work on cars and just take reasonable steps not to spread it, or pick up more of it/different strain.

Just time it by ear, you were less than 1-2 degrees off from Hoppy’s sun machine at Carlisle

So, does anyone in the group here know off hand what needs to be also changed when swapping to SS rear leaf springs? Shocks need to be longer in some cases? Anything else? This is for my 71 Demon

I know you are a smart guy , and I'm not trying to be a smart ***. Sometimes we all lose our train of thought.
When you brought it up to TDC you were on compression and not exhaust correct.

Get in a bit of a rush and forget things.

I had to drill out the front spring hanger to accept the larger bolts, also used longer shocks. I bought a longer rear rubber brake hose but my old one seems to be long enough, barely.

The ones I had on my 74 charger came with new front hangers and reused the rears. So it may depend on the kit.

Was your car originally a V8 or /6 car? Sorry, I don't remember off hand. It seems some info I am finding, the /6 had the 1/2" bolt and V8 had 5/8" bolts. IDK

The v-8 cars had the larger bolt...

The SS springs will be bolt on and go...

I've never used the longer shocks... When does the rear suspension become unsprung????

However to compensate for the stronger right rear spring, crank up the left front torsion bar some extra so the front end sits level....
