Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good morning, yesterday was a long one. Took 9 hours to receive 33k gallons of diesel + immigration and customs. We left port around 21:30. Got a wake up call at 2300 due to broken nipple on drain valve to the Port main generator engine (cat 3516). Fun working on a coolant leak when the temp is 200*F +/-! Making good time at the moment. Should have to stop and jack back up due to cold front around 2400 tonight.

It's ThirtyThree Thursday!

Good morning :D

Check your voltage but thos LED's don't last a million hours like they advertise. I always have some flickering here at home. LOL

Most of the street lights round here have been retro fitted with LEDs, I've noticed when they reach the end of their working days it's not just a flicker, more like a 1000W strobe light :lol:

I love Anacortes! I worked with Trident for a long time so would bounce between there and Dutch Harbor. Every now and then we would hideout in LaConner.(sp?)
I worked on 2 boats in Lake Union and went to Dutch Harbor twice. We too one of the boats all the way north of Point Barrow with transit through the Bearing Straits both ways. back in 2011.

Snow is done. Next precip is forecast for Tuesday. Temp right at freezing and ready to start diving. Was 42 last night when I got out of work. Will be 6F tomorrow night. Got out and cleared the driveway quick while I could. Half inch of slush on most of it. Threw some salt and should be good. Coffee break and then do out back.

Tow the truck to a old customers shop. $70 for a tow across town. It has been a long time since I had one towed.

Energy is a funny thing, that 33K gallons of diesel, I could have made 50K tons of blacktop, 21 miles at 24' wide x 3" thick .

Great... Fire truck and ambulance just flew down the road and another station alarm going off for more help... Wife looked it up. Less than a mile down the road 'plow truck vs tractor trailer'

In a twist of fate the folks causing us issues are way behind ( several years) on property tax, looks like it will likely go to State auction in March on tax sales. Jodi is like a vulture on a tree limb watching it, just waiting to pounce. She is determined to buy it and toss em off their own property. That will be some fun.
And remember YOU have your kin in Arkansas...won't be no smashing mailbox's or tearing down fences with the Bailey clan. :D

Did a transmission service.
Broke 1 pan bolt. Helicoiled it. Had to drop exhaust to get pan out. Both sides leak now. So i get to do that over in the morning. Had enough. Legs aching.
