I'm looking for Hoppy. They let me off the CDC bus in Pennsylvania this morning. My Google Maps ap has ceased to function. Do you like my selfie? Directions to his house would be appreciated. I have a distributor I would like to have him go through for a /6. Must be done quickly, the local Sheriffs are looking for me. Thank you for your assistance in advance.

<~~~~~~ Had to go see the rock tossed into the Evolution Pond . Skipped 7 1/2 pages to find it. Good job

Well after a couple of toddies I could not resist and posted some religious humor in the origin of life thread. Sticker on beer fridge. Not sure I am man enough to go back in! I can hear the weeping wailing and gnashing of teeth from here! Them boys needed some levity!

Wow the Bengals to the AFC Championship game! I was barely a year old the last time they made it there

With all the rain NorCal had in the last 2 weeks they have another brush fire. Near the beach Monterey/Carmel area. PG&E probly nervous again. Had some pretty stout winds in that neighborhood last night. :BangHead:
Wow, we had 20 to 35 mph wind Wensday and Thursday, by today it has calmed

If the system is linear, increasing the spring force by 50% will increase the pressure by 50% but I think some measuring and adjusting is probably needed.
No. Bearing clearances determine oil pressure. Oil viscosity. And amount of flow. A pressure relieve spring is just that. Relieves excess pressure...

Evening, small swap meet today, didn’t find anything I couldn’t live without.

All a stronger spring will do is allow more pressure when engine is cold. Pressure relieve valve opens to prevent too much over pressure. Will do nothing till engine makes that set pressure. Which is difficult with hot oil

Exactly.

and more pressure on cold oil doesn't always more flow to the top.
kindof like this

yea I like that analogy. LOL

If using large bearing clearances, then a high volume pump will better fill them.
Otherwise the high valume pump is just going to open the releif valve early.
Thats how I see it.
