4 speed ****** .....WITH OVERDRIVE!!!!!!!!E V Electric ******, I guess now you can do one or drive one.
I know that All Electric cars (EVs) get a lot of bad press on this forum, but like it or not, that is the direction we are heading. I also know that they are not as 'green' as some would like us to believe. In fact, some say that building an EV is dirtier than building a traditional car. And most likely, the electricity needed to charge it come from a coal or natural gas plant. Nevertheless, it may only be a matter of time before we won't have a lot of choice. Well, I'm 71, so I may never see that day, but it may be coming. All this being said, there is one EV that has sparked my interest; the new Hyundai IONIQ 5. Nice looking car with a range of 300 miles. I doubt I will buy one, but the idea does interest me. I plan to do a lot of research before even thinking seriously about it.
Don't trust Hyunda/Kia vehicles had nothing but issues with them. I would get an established Ev platform before even considering a ev that has no long term testing.I know that All Electric cars (EVs) get a lot of bad press on this forum, but like it or not, that is the direction we are heading. To be honest, it's only a 500hp 454 now, but the aluminum headed 540 is in the works, and I have a 250hp plate unit for it. (Please ignore the AWFUL flames, they will soon be gone!)
