Good Morning everyone. Still very sore here. Had to scrape windows today before leaving for work. But, it is supposed to warm starting today..ish. We will see. Dad is supposed to come over this weekend to help get the Demon tuned. He is always been really good at that and enjoys it. Then I will be ready for Mopars in the Park in a month. Just need the hood back from paint. Can't wait!!

Here's some of the fix for my melt down generator shed issue. I used a clamp to pull lines away from the exhaust louvers and am ordering this weld on exhaust flange with silicone tube and pass thru exhaust port made for flammable walls. Then I need to solve the fan issue, Hoppy has been helping me with that : )

Can you dig down a foot around it and flush cut it again and dirt fill the hole?? Or like I do with those nasty ones have the tree guy stump grind it. I agree it's in a nasty place and will always be a PITA.

Yes that's my plan to continue. I made cuts to quarter it and had half of it gone. Will hit with pressure washer or garden hose first after maybe a little more digging then cut with new chain, don't want to risk dinging up the new chain as I can't get them nearly as sharp as either the hardware store or of course new. It's really cut low so will throw some dirt over it and call it good.

Was going to have both sons home this weekend for birthday/Mother's Day BUT, son got covid, at clinicals in medical school how ironic and suckey!!!
It's really coming together!!
So I wanted to keep with some variant of the original paint scheme but also love the 70's paint jobs on the drag cars. So I made a quick sketch with highlighters and sharpies on a printed pic. Here is a pic with white gel coat. And a rendition of what I want. The black will be painted with lace.
I did see that, hit the LIKE button then lol! That's gonna be sweet!

Took Fargo to car club meeting, it was a hit. The club has been a source of funds for a few charities over the years,members were constantly raising money and volunteering. I explained i had no interest in fundraising, would rather make a donation.
They now set up the car show,and offer the bbq tent to non profits make and sell food. Win win. Youth centre is doing it this year.
So,the club is now more about the cars,cruising and events.

So question for the masters,
if I were to order a second gallon of color just to be safe, would it be a good idea to blend the two gallons so the color is beyond a doubt consistent? So when mixing, the instructions call for 4:1 ratio color to reducer, so I’d take half of the 4 parts from one gallon, the other half from the other gallon?

Oh btw here’s the new car. Buddy of mine and I worked out the deal last night. I have the front sheet metal and the rear fenders all in my barn too
