Ahhh. OK. Dannnggitt. Had the pan off and didn't run through that. :BangHead:
You mean the adjustmnet?
I dont always check the band adjustment but yea its a good idea. I think with the Jeep its a part of the filter change procedure in the book. Chrysler I dont remember

It was right there in front of me. Another rookie mistake. ....

Reverse is the low/reverse band tightening. If it doesn't engage in manual first then for some reason its not applying that band.
Reverse on the rooster comb inside the pushbutton is generally the first thing to wear. Some snap off even. It’s why I’m suggesting he adjust those cables before diving into the rabbit hole.

Deja vu all over again.
Here's an operating temperature discussion in the coffee thread.

I have notes with moderate confidence level that say needle starts to move around 120 F, and first mark is about 170, and top mark is about 240.

However it has led me to a new proposal that RTV should not be sold over the counter.
Only those who pass a test and are given a license to apply should be allowed to get their hands on it.
I would have had the oil pan back on by now. Grrrr.

Ever notice the one thing that is says on the package that RTV can't resist?
Good thing I had some.
Goobered all the threads.

So if I drop the pan I can't see that right?
Not unless you drop the valve body.
However, you can use a mirror and see it. Make sure the balls of the dent are making good contact. Again, easier with a helper in the car.

you can also use a bore scope

Any surprises if I remove the valve body? Springs, bearings, gaskets, etc?

Prayers for Treva and you Mike, keep us up to date
Good afternoon, hart doctor said I need another stress test , but my wife's hart doctor has her going to the hospital tomorrow for a single stint, could be more they said once they look closer tomorrow :(
I hope she is not dealing with doctors just needing work :BangHead: ..it could happen!!
But glad we found it and getting her took care of quickly.. yep, we had the same day hart doctor appointments, .... what a morning, I have dishes soaking in hot hot soap water, cleaning the kitchen and pathrroom as she rests.. another day, another way. :drama:.. music playing and shades are open..

Have a good day everyone

Morning!
Overcast this morning, 70 ish degrees.
We went to check in to the B&B last night, supposed to be 2 rooms. No, just one is booked. Ended up in a hotel instead. Hotel is the same money. Maybe just as well, the house was not as nice as photos led us to believe..

The roads along the coast are interesting, speeds vary from 30 to 50 mph as there are few straight stretches. Pretty cool.

Preparing to take her in the the hospital, thank you
@FISHYPETE and @RustyRatRod .
She said thank you all very much, poor think can't eat or drink..

Got to go.. talk to everyone later.
