Highest flowing sbm heads?

Is that NA?
Absolutely
Buddy of mine ran his stock rocker gear stock/ super stock combo hemi in a drag pack car 7500-8000 every pass.
Went 9.60’s at legal weigh(3300 ish) and it was absolutely nothing special…. It’s just the friggin heads are that good…
He recently got rid of it to go NSS racing. Has a beautiful 64 Plymouth now that run 9 teens on the bumper off the foot

only 8k, Shilo's W8 makes power over 9200. That's spinning her up. lol
I forgot, your old. :D

I shifted at 9 several times but it wasn’t any faster than 8800 so I just shifted there. The steel valve stuff I shifted at 8200 and if I wanted to lean on it 8500 but that’s on the ragged edge of crapping parts out.

Ti and everything it takes to run it ain’t cheap.

Absolutely..lol
seen one, seen them all type deal…
but I hurry back for the junior dragsters…haha
junior dragsters are the best thing to ever hit the strip. Gets kids going at a very young age.
Gets the whole family involved, including momma.

Ti over here in KC :)

Ti over here in KC :)
Over here in NY … (edit) Florida!
How handy are you? If the engine was free, you wouldn't drop a nickel to the dollar on building a "W" headed stroker in a race block. Somebody should put together a "fair market" "W" headed stroker race block" cost, and make sure it has street manners.
Very handy but slow as **** these days with back issues.
(Such a joy!)
But the question wasn’t answered. No biggie. It’s just, well the brackets and such to fit it in is one thing only followed by exhaust considerations. Now, do we keep the computer?
Acquiring the HEMI is one thing. Getting in and running is another cost. Holley has a stand alone HEMI 6 computer IIRC. While I’m sure someone has done it and screams easy it was!
The in and outs I’m not familiar with.

I’m neck deep in LA & a few B blocks to play with. I’ll stay here. Otherwise it’s just like throwing money out the window to start over and get in the learning curve.

I'm happy with the old builds and I go slow, real slow. I spend little, very little. But I have big fun, lots of fun. :)

What about Original Poster who wants the 350 CFM heads for some unknown combo unknown budget? Forget about him and go off on tangents new hemis are fast, 1,000 hp on stock blocks, no one looks at the late models when out cruising, late models faster then the classics, so and so is smart, so and so is full of it, chinese tubos, fast on a chevy budget, turtles ect ect ect.....

Don’t be dising on my dog gone Turtles. Here have a Snickers Bar. Lol

I just retired and am too far invested in small blocks. Also I'm not willing to take a quarter on the dollar for my parts. Mopar guys are too cheap to pay for good parts.
Freakin A brother! Here here!
We are in the same boat. Just retired last year and I’m neck deep in LA parts I plan to have fun with.
I’m not in the biz of resale or out to try and make a mint on my used parts that are normally list inexpensive but then there are the guys that want it all including and extra $50 in there pocket for doing you the favor of taking interest in your parts!

Un freakin believable!!!!

Agree....with multiple cars I have finally, lol, figured out that life is easier if I start using the same parts on the different cars when it is feasible, makes swapping things easier and if a part goes bad I can rob it's brother from another car. Also too invested in LA platform as well to logically consider anything else....I will be fine with what I have until i'm no longer.

Nick from Nicks garage runs his hemi to 8000 rpm every pass using all stock valve train , been doing it for years , has the trophes to prove it . Takes time and lots of work , lifts the wheels but does not ride the bumper , forget his best time

Tell me about it , that is why I never sell my parts , i put 10g of parts in a build and the cheap asses want to pay 4g for a complete running engine **** that I'll use it as a boat anchor before i sell to some low balling a-hole . Parts cost big in commie Kanada

LMAOROTF!!!!!

Move south!!!!! I like 99% of the Canadian folk I ever met.

yeah, they shim up the lifters somehow.
the bumper dragger is his new( to him) NSS car.
the Drag pack car with the gen3 left way more tame

That's funny Dan Smith runs mid 9's with the **** most guys will throw away like stock cast iron heads and a stock factory block with just a flat tappet cam. **** you could probably build 2 for the prices these guys will pay for 1 that will do that. The fact that its done 2600 passes without breaking says EVERYTHING about its reliability. **** he's even doing it with Eddie heads. He's obviously figured out how to make a lot of power with parts people consider junk and that's gonna piss off those that need exotic and expensive parts to do it.

It is what it is. Cue the haters.........

Good to see the red cross of doom from the forum gods

Must be soul destroying to see what some people can do with what others consider junk.

And if you read a word I said, you know better than to even post what you just posted. I said with cam swap and exhaust swap, they'll make 600 hp and that is the cheapest 600 hp with reliability you can about get. My opinion. :) And it was for the OP of this thread!
He doesn't know how to read. WE already established that.

I made a post with a general outline of what's out there yet it was ignored. Maybe everyone has me on ignore LOL.

And for those that have question the "cost" of the 485 "net hp" 6.4, I went on market place and found one all complete for 700 bucks. Has warranty as well.

Thats cool. Third gen Hemis are good motor but not without their problems. Plus its cheap to buy maybe but by the time you spend all the money to get working in a car. You could have pit a hot small block together. This thread is about a 59 degree small block and what head to use. So this isn’t really pertinent or helpful.

The op has been hitting the "like" and "agree" on my post, and has commented. :)
