Stop in for a cup of coffee

Tractor maintenance is on the plate today, realize I did the 50 hour engine oil/filter change but did not change either hydraulic filter, not good. Glad Kubota is open on Saturday.

Ha, I'm adjusting just fine. Only 10 beers in 4 days. My body is begining to recover. Lol. Another day or two of jet lag and I'll get them out and about more. Tomorrow I'm taking her to my church with me. Can't wait to see the look on the older women's faces.Lol....
Ok that’s funny, you are going to provide the blue hairs with gossip material for a month! On serious note hope she enjoys the services.

Jodi made it home last night from her roadtrip. The house semi passed her scrutiny. The dogs however feel she is simply invading their space. Jodi will have to reestablish her standing as the Alpha female. Little dog was not happy over new sleeping arrangements! Not sure how you can call a fifty some odd pound Mal a little dog but her sister dwarfs her. The pup got unceremoniously kicked off the bed last night! I try hard not to laugh but the struggle for dominance is hilarious but very real. Pack animal behavior 101!

Now why did ya go and post that? Now I gotta go check hour meter as it dawned on me I may be past due for same!

I had a couple things happen while cleaning up those trees yesterday, one was a had a full load of branches in the grapple, 2WD and the rear wheels were spinning as I was backing away from the pile, felt like transmission slipping, of course it wasn't but doh. Also had a branch open a lever that locks the grapple on and the grapple detached from the loader on one side, didn't go anywhere but it was a bugger to get reconnected with the hyd lines on. Anyhoo, guess I don't need to change the hyd fluid until 400 hours but the filter has a magnet in it and they want you to change that at 50 so two filters today and maybe an air filter.

Hurry up and wait... Was hoping to be painting this morning. Sanded the wall patches. One area the patch set deeper than the original needed another skim coat. Guess I will cut the top for the sink while that dries. Should have been at this point a week ago. My big mistake was that I didn't just remove everything on day one. Tried to keep bathroom useable and it bit me in the ars. :BangHead:

Glad everyone in the weather path made it through. Just wind here with tumble weed everywhere.

So question.

The existing lighting fixtures, whoever installed them, simply twisted the bare copper wires together as they daisy chained the fixtures.

Should I wire nut them or are they fine just twisted together?

Wire nut with a pigtail to feed the light.

A Cloyes would be a good bet. Get yourself a degree wheel and study up on how to do it if you haven't before.
