Hell...In Viet Nam you can fly from South ( Saigon ) to North ( Hanoi ) round trip....TWICE on that kinda money....

Tolls through NJ and NYC are almost $50 then gas, wear and tear and 6-7 hours, this is 3.5 stop to stop.

Sorry to hear. And sorry for your loss.

If you want to vent or even want advice on estate stuff, pm me. I just went thru 2 very nasty estate battles in the last 4 years so I get it.
It's sort of complicated. Sister and I were adopted before Jr was born. So he got power of attorney and he acts as though hes aire to the throne or something. I regret today that I didn't step up 2 weeks ago and told the A-hole "go on with your holiday. We can lay the body to rest without you. I dropped the ball. Cried and prayed that pop forgives me. BTW, he told my Jr, "I'll give you a grand when you are cleared out. Theres no way to know if that's from his own pocket or the estate. Doesn't matter. Jr told him "choke on it". He denied my Jr as much as a donut from the beginning of this hospice care arrangement. How do you spell asshole?

Holy crap cause of the date code.

Yes, agree...

Got a plate pass bill in the mail from back in April. Traffic was bad and ended up crossing down in lower Manhattan. $13 ... but no additional fees.
Not sure why my EZ Pass didn't pick it up :wtf:

Good luck man.

Morning!
Rain. Grass to cut. Not today. Will continue paint/trim today, have to finish it. Neet to get back to the M37 Ambulance and finish the manifold gasket replacement. I hope to get over there tomorrow.

Back roads it is. I think I had nearly 200 bucks in fees crossing PA to Carlisle. So on the way home, I took US 30 the entire route. Added 2 hours or so to my drive but I got to see the flight 93 memorial which was awe inspiring

On a lighter note, I got a check on the male from Aspen Dental yesterday, 260.00. I really don't have a clue why. Was nothing more in the envelope than the check. I did get x-ray and estimate for upper denture there but that must have been 25 years ago. EDIT; It just occured to me, I may not be able to cash this check right away. No ID. I couldn't get my license renewed. Failed the eye test. They said go to eye doctor. I told them where to go. Actually said, "when my windshield shrinks to 5/8" X 4" and I can't turn my head at all, I'll let the wife drive".

Last time we went up was for a funeral. Daughter sees a shortcut on her phone to save 15 min. She talks me into it. Dam right across Manhatten at lunchtime through both tunnels. Pretty funny my Max Max driving skills came right back, cut off 7 Busses, sent three people on bikes making deliveries crash, and god knows what else. Her husband was absolutely white knuckle. Pretty funny. Then we get through the second tunnel the wife says to me I lost my NY driving skills I should have cut off ten busses!

So I had no choice but to order a repop Dual Point lead from BRE the last one I could find. Really disappointed with it very poor quality. There was one guy making them a while back I have bought they were perfect. This sucks the cheapest real leads are almost 200 each now.
