Just bought this 71 Duster parts car.

Bought this 71 Duster mainly for the rear end, but it ended up being a pretty cool car on its own. I bet this thing looked beautiful when new.
Factory J6 Sassy Grass Green with V21 Hood Blackout, and absolutely loaded with documentation. Window sticker, two broadcast sheets, registration from new to 90s, old receipts documenting work done to it, list goes on.
Unfortunately, the body itself is a little too far gone to justify saving, but still a really neat piece. Have no idea what we're going to do with it now. Wish it wasn't so rough. But, finally got the 8 3/4 I've been looking for.

Side note. I've never seen a hood so bad it splits in two by simply picking it up.

reminds me of one I brought home. front tires resting on the underneath of the front fenders. no amount of dish soap would make it slid off the flatbed. had to use the forklift and drag it off. looked so bad, I was afraid the neighbors would call the police on me. managed to push it into the garage where it came apart where it rested.

Do you have a pic of the fender tag. That car is crazy! FJ6, V21 and an 8 3/4 rear with a 318. It's got to be a super rare combo!

It's a three pedal V8 car. 8.75 isn't a stranger to those rides

i couls use the pedal set up, floor hump and all associated hardware and brackets.

With the hood blackout, it's a Twister, right?

I'd think real hard about saving a HIP paint, manual trans, V8 Twister.

Hood is nothing.

If the hood is that bad, what's hiding down in the trunk extensions and rocker panels?

The only way to fix that poor ol Duster is to jack the VIN plate up and drive an Arizona Duster up under it.....lol.
