How bad are BFGoodrich Radial T/A

-
I recently ditched the TAs for a set of the newly available Firestone Wide Oval radials from Coker. I am happy with the look and they seem to ride a lot better on city streets and the freeway. These are on 15x7 steelies so I went with the 60 series option. Not the cheapest option but I am happy with the purchase.

they suck and have always sucked. even worse now that coker sells them at a stupid price.
Try buying a Red Line from Coker now. Twice the price at $400.00. I'm in the market for some new tires on my stock 69' Dart Swinger 340, 4 speed. Not sure how to go. $200.00 (TA's) or Red Lines ($400.00).

i wouldn't go with either of them..lol cooper or MT both have nice white letter tires. not sure what sizes though.

The BFG tires have had their compound changed for quite some time now. It's almost like plastic it's so hard. They ride like crap and the traction is poor.

Go for the best performing tires you can afford.
What is the purpose of tires?
What is your life or health, or the non-totalled condition of your car worth?
Is it worth less than some white letters on the sides? A little red line around the sidewall?

Your second question is how I always make the purchase. If I'm just doing low speed cruising, that gets one kind of tire. But any type of performance driving or racing? That gets another kind.

I can get some Ironman Imove PT plus 205/70/14 for tomorrow morning 619.00$ all in
Any have any intel on those ?
Thanks
Update
I ended up getting General altimax rt45. Hard tire size to find around here so I ordered them on Black Circles online. Just had them mounted. Did a few miles. They seem good and look good.

Wow! That color pops! What is the color code and name of color? Looking sharp!

Any suggestions for a set in that size for 69 dart 340. I’m not going to do lettering on the outside.
Only summer driveway
Minimal use
No drag strips
Probably some burn outs !
I’m in a bit of a jam because I need them for a safety certificate in a couple days.
I’m in Ontario Canada
Any suggestions??
Thanks in advance

There are COUNTLESS better tires than T/A's if you don't want white letters.
