starter was hitting the flex plate

The 904 flexplate has two sets of holes both with 10.01" bolt circle. The 727 flexplate has 3 sets and is larger in diameter for a 11" Converter. Stock flexplate will work. John

"What exactly do you mean by 5% more?" If the LR is 750# the RR should be 785#. To get more on the RR raise the LF and/or lower the RF or some of both. John

PLEASE help - 72 Duster - "Mystery Wires"

Did you take out the MSD? Looks like a cobbled MSD wiring attempt. Proper wiring is: From the ballast 2 brown (1 from coil+, 1 to cavity O), 2 blue (1 from cavity N and alternator field, and 1 the regulator I} and 1 wire to the red on the MSD are all connected to each other, no ballast. John

The engine swap would be similar to a D50 swap. The rear end would be the tough part as the rear suspention is a 4 link not leaves. John

wiper motor what do i have and where can i get one

Not a two speed. A body's optional WW was variable speed from 64 to 70. Do not know the others. If the switch has 4 detents it is a 3 speed, moves smooth after its on, variable. Never seen a repop. John
