As far as tire choice,I would avoid a bias ply construction. I think you would be surprised how poorly your car handles with those . I would use a radial tire for sure. Maybe something with a straight tread verses an all season. Sometimes you can still find 14" in whitewall which would look...
I recently sold my coronet and have been looking for an early A body 4door slant six. until I find one it is great to follow the progress of the great cars on this forum!
I think of a survivor car as a regularly driven car in mostly stock condition, but I think you make good point that it may be away for sellers to exaggerate the value of an otherwise unremarkable car. I have seen some survivor cars that just looked worn out and needing repair.
I have been loking at a cummins six cyl conversion in a dodge pickup but I need to know what the engine trans. combinations weighs with all accesories. any body know this? I will be putting it in a half ton with a straight axle.
vans and pickups in the 80's used the a833 trans. the overdrive unit that i had in my 84 d150 had a very wide ratio but it was good for gas mileage. also that trans used the hurst shifter parts that are easily available. a good one to get!
the 2.4 engine is a proven engine in those cars and seemsto give no trouble if not abused. the v-6 is a pretty tight fit and more difficult to work on. avoid the 2.7 v-6 in any chrysler.

i really like the v6 with fuel injection swap! how was the wiring part of the
project ? i see you used the stock computer, was everything else stock ,sensors ,etc. your car is the first i have seen to use this v-6. it looks like it was made for the car! professional looking job well done!
