Anybody thought about Studebaker?

Anyone know if an axle out of a Durango or Ram would fit in a 67 barracuda? How involved would it be to modify it to fit? Just thinking that truck axles should be beefier than the 8 1/4 i have now and that Dana 60's should be fairly easy to pick up from a late model ram.

What do you mean about the conversion on the windows? I'm doing a 67, I'm a long way from worrying about windows, but thought I'd ask and keep the info in the back of my mind?

I LOVE EM! One of my magazines ran an article recently on the Palomino edition too. There is a guy (in CA I think) that has bought most of them up and is restoring them all one by one.

Done, voted 2nd for the 43 coupe down a couple rows and the studebaker as 3rd.

I don't suppose anyone in the area has a ball joint socket and torsion bar clamp/puller/hammering thingabob that I could borrow for a couple weeks to finish taking off my front end?

Please explain why not order it balanced from manufacturer? Was looking at a balanced kit from hughes, does that fall into the same category?
