you got a 67' burled walnut dash inset; rare and nobody reproduces them.

bigblockdart.com has a tech page and they did one for a big block. i know thats not much help but some words implied that they got the specs from direct connection. maybe thats a lead to find the specs you need:)

ever tried to start an LA engine with the coverter unbolted from the flex plate....ya. new balanced rods. so, Question: dose the tip of the output shaft touch the inside of the converter; if there is to much play in the output shaft could it move the converter?

i have called a bunch of tranny shops and all of them say it dosent happen on 727s. i also called a bunch of machine shops and all of them say an engine wont move the crank forward on its own for any reason.

no, third crank. second block. new converter. same tranz (second rebuild on the tranz.)

i just checked for the 5/16 and it has it. what else would be pushing on the crank; i can push it back into position when the engine is off.

i had a set of crane golds on my eddy heads and now they sit in a box in the garage because they didnt line up with the valve stem and were wearing out my guides. i called crane and they had no answers for me. now i run comp roller tips.

the "top" 408 is better. i agree about the 8, i think its just a tiny bit to wide thats all.
