    Yu sure it isnt your hazard flasher?? It could be that it is that hazard flasher ad its not working properly. They will try to flash even with key off. Replace it and see what happens.

    im running that cam in my 360. If i remember correctly the springs were 140 at seat, and i remember for sure that they are 350 at max lift, with coil bind just after that.

    Running wires from ON/Off switch to alternater.

    Just splice your 2 post shut off into your ground, that would be the negative wire in case you arent sure. Doesnt matter if your running an alternator then. It stops the circuit and will kill the car.

    If you have your original and it is in any kind of shape better than complete trash, i would suggest just recovering that one. It will fit and function hands down better than the abs ones do. The abs ones are better than staring at the bare roof, but only barely.

    A car that came with a folding rear seat would be a good start. Definately more than a couple hinges. Im not saying its not possible to convert one over to folding seat, but its not very practical.

    What kind of vehicle is it in or out of? If it doesnt have a rear cover it is either an 8 3/4 or a ford 9. On the drivers side of the carrier, scrape all the grease off and look at the last 3 number. Should be a 741, 742, or a 489.
