That strange looking thing is part of the vent system, all my fuel system was shoddy and I replaced it all except that vent system tube thing. I had no idea if it was good or bad but it seemed to work. If I had problems it would be the first thing I looked at. There is alot of tubing in it that...

I'll even throw in the fuel pump for $100, it literally has maybe 10 to 20 miles on it, these are not parts that have been sitting in my garage for months/years, new stuff. Hate to see it go to waste.

I have a brand new ( one month old ) tank with the four vent lines I'd like to see someone use. It's a Spectra with the four vent lines, my car is a 71 Scamp, I think they are the same but it's the time when they started making changes so I could get the model number off the invoice if needed...

If you threw that old lock ring in the trash you better hurry and dig thru it, your gonna need it. You luckily can get one here from a member, dam I can't remember his screen name right now even though I bought one from him, solved my leak.

So if the cap is pressure relief, do they still have the same problem? I have the tube out now and whie looking at it I see down inside some corrosion, so I'm not putting that back in a clean tank. So my choice is to try to get it dipped and rezinced or buy a new one, now at this point I think...

Aaahh thank you goldduster, but you must think I have some idea off what I need, LOL! I'm asking because I don't even know if I need a filler tube vent.

One thing I definitely would not do is use Comp cams lifters. I don't know who makes them for Comp Cams. I have a couple that take a few seconds to pump up, no big deal but it's sort of embarrassing. I have heard the same from lots of others so very common.

Last thing I need to figure out for the FITech setup is the vent system. On my 71 Scamp it had the old four corner tank vent system, which is going to be gone completely. I just got that one all figured out, now useless to me. So the new setup is the FITech with an in tank pump, EFI tank...

I forgot to mention, but I'm sure most of you already knew it, the gas gauge never worked, ever. LOL!!!

67Dart, I think your idea of buying two 3/8 feed lines is going to be my best solution with this.

Well they are remanufactured AND corrosion resistant !!! Guys better hurry they only have thre left, LOL.
