In my limited experience, Holley carbs don't HAVE problems, they ARE problems. I've discovered that if you want to go all-out, top end, drag race, acceleration to the max then Holley carbs are for you. If you want a car that will actually idle, has good low end power and overall driveability...

I used a Scarebird conversion on my Scamp and it's been great for 3 years now. And when I eventually need new pads, it won't be difficult to find them. Only embarassing to ask for the Cavalier pads..lol

I've been looking into this stuff as an R-12 replacement and was wondering if anybody had actually used it and if so what your experiences are. I'm just really not feeling switching to R-134a, unless there's just no reasonable alternative.
