i think youre on the right rack but i hate to tell you, that switch is hard to find and kind of expensive. if it was 1970 or later you can find them easy. early a's, not so much. good luck..

is it possible to remove the center cap on the wheel to expose the dust cap? if you can do that, you could just undo the nut and pull the whole tire and drum assembly off exposing the backs of the studs... i dont know if this will work with your wheels. i bet the centers install from the inside...

shoot down to home depot, they have grade 8 bolts there. thats what you should look for grade-wise.
