Ross' Aspen

I've learned two things here on this thread. #1) Ross has what it takes to get in and get his hands dirty and stay with it. These things take time.#2) Ross obviously knows Jr. If your car looks anyway similiar to the one in the sketches, that will be one fine ride.. I've got a Volare RR setting here in the field and after i get a title i will begine work on it. A factory sunroof car with a consol buckets and a factory 360. I'll step out and shoot a pic for ya. I think that these 70,s F-bodies will be the car to have for the young guns.All the other A,B,C and such will be taken or gone.They can be made to be just as nice or fast as any of the others mentioned.:read2:

Thank you! This is the car that got me into cars and now my current profession of auto body.

Looks like you have a great start of a project there.

Shop looks great Ross! No work for me tomorrow so I'm having a Stiff drink out in the shop looking at the dart. Might have three or four!
 
Excellent job on the f-body. I sold off the barracudas I had when I joined the site and ended up with a 76 Aspen R/T of which I am almost finished.It has a .040 360, 904, 4.10 8 3/4 suregrip, console and buckets. Much more comfortable to drive than my 65 Barracuda. Good to know there is a friendy place for F body guys too. Here are some before shots from last year in April. I'll post recent pics when the sun comes out again.

was that the one that was on CL for awhile that had a 340 in it once? If you need any parts let me know I am just up 405 a little bit.

I should call this the Craigslist Special Edition. I'm finally tuning out the bugs and getting her on the road.

Took her to downtown Auburn yesterday to the bank. Brake pedal went to the floor.:eek:ops:

Only into it for about 3K total with a new motor. :thumbup:

Think I may have talked to you a few months ago about a front grille?
Anyways I love what you have done with your F body keep us posted.
 
lol darn I could have towed it for you for less. O well. Glad to hear it was saved I talked to the guy a few times and he wouldn't budge on the price so I passed. Not sure on the grill thing I have one but it's my spare and it's perfect..... I would probably let it go for $300 but thats if you absolutely need it.
 
Maybe I can tempt you with some parts? I have many. Hows about a pair of Cragar super star wheels with new Bridestone p205/70/r14. Chrome Steel with 5 on 4.5 mopar pattern. They are very nice, just like the weld pro stars. Hmmm?
 
lol don't really need any extra wheels at the moment, I might know of a guy who has some for sale though on the aspenrt.com He is the owner of the site and might be willing to sell for cheaper. Like I said the only reason I am asking way to much is because it is my back up one and I don't really want to sell it.

Nope nothing new, kinda sorta am out of the green stuff right now (am looking at a alterkation front and rear) and I also might have picked up another aspen to make a SC clone out of. Thanks for the complement though.
I might post it over there, not sure I want to repost everything though.
