here is what I want to do. car is 67 Bel 1, it was one owner well kept up old car. the front suspension has obvious pretty new parts. it was a slant and I have a 67 big block k member to go in. I will retain the stock T bars for now. what I want to do is: drop t bars, steering box and idler, remove nuts for the struts, take loose the nut retaining the lower control arms, AND unbolt the K and slid it forward and OUT. if I replace the lower arm bushing with poly, can't it just go back in no problem? works right!?????

That will work just fine, you'll probably have to knock the strut rods out of the control arms and leave them in loose to reinstall, it's hard to line up both lower control arms and both struts on the way in, an extra set of hands will help a lot.

For what its worth I don't know , the a-body has plastic splash shields riveted to the frame rails, in the way. Had to drill out those rivets before the K would move forward.
I recall the weight of the power steering gear hanging on it made it much more difficult/awkward to handle. The truth is, for me anyway, after doing these things several different ways, still have never decided which was easiest. Just aint no "easy". I can't say which is less hard either. LOL Good luck
Oh and by the way, you might not fully unload those torsion bars at the adjust screws. You might not split the lower ball joints without destroying those boots either. Unbolt the lower ball joints from spindles is another option.
What did I say ? Aint no "easy".

And sometimes those 4 retaining bolts don't all come out with the wrench. Sometimes there is a torch involved. And sometimes there is welding involved to repair the access window that has to be cut into the frame to put the heat where it needs to be.So I would break those loose before anything else, to be sure you're not gonna get into trouble later, after splitting everything else off.
Have you given any thought to the Schumacher mounts?

this is a 67 B Body slant K that is going away. Schumaker does not do conversion mounts for those I looked. I got a torch. good impact. I am just getting old and wore out! I was hoping to get some concrete laid down to work on before I start this but.... tired of working on dirt with jack stands sitting on such! ha

Oh it's a B-body! Sorry, old-man brain stall on my part.
I know nothing about B's. But I thought Bs were a one K for all engines deal. Or was that the older Bs? Or was that my imagination?
