67 dart gt convertible V8 production numbers?

-
I am going to check my buildsheet which I had found on the car and refresh my memory about what the car came with from factory.

It does have a DAY/NIGHT mirror which is kinda neat they had it back then.

That is it!

If you have the fender tag you can get a repo window sticker

Did a pencil rub over the fender tag and gave the guy the other info and he made the window sticker. I'm thinking it was AAA enterprises here in Indy. Had done at the mopar Nats in 1994.

Can they do a proper build sheet from the fender tag?
I 'decoded' (roughly) my fender tag and it didn't seem to say anything about certain parts that I know came with the car, like factory AM/FM radio, Day/Night Mirror (like mentioned above), A/C, etc.

Maybe I did it wrong?
(see http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?p=1970380052#post1970380052)

Hopefully I'll find the build sheet under the seat, but not likely since the car was redone in '80 and is probably already lost.

*Mine: '67 GT 273 2bbl convertible

This is a picture from the last time it was out -1989. We sold that house and I moved it to my farm. I had put a spare set of ralleys on it because the original tires were cracking. Picture of a picture is not very good. That was my 39 Desoto business coupe LOL

Not a pilot car, but it is a 67 LP27H72 Dart GTS convertible, only 6 known to exist! Looks to be 100% original 4-speed car too, 3.23 sure grip rear.

There's more than that...thats just RK Motors number, from their EBay ad. There were 226/227 4-speeds (depending who you believe) originally built. Still a pretty rare car.

I helped restore the RK Motors convertible. The production numbers are accurate 228 automatics and 229 4-speeds, but there at NO known numbers of convertibles made, just a guestimate on what typical convertible to hardtop production numbers were for other models.

That one looks pretty nice. Seems that it's a pretty hard sell though...they've had for it on EBay a long time.

It wouldn't be a pilot car as the 383 option was introduced late in the model year but it's an amazing find if it's legit.

Here's what I have...from our resident "numbers-guy"...

Production of 1967 Dodge Dart GT convertibles, for the American market :
>
> 6-cylinder : 1,761
> 8-cylinder : 1,626
> TOTAL : 3,387
>
> A further 342 (6 & V8) were built for Canada.
>
> Bill
> Vancouver, BC

BTW, I believe all '67 Darts were built in the US.
Europe?

Anyone know how many 67 dodge dart gt convertibles were made for Europe? I got one from a woman that brought it here from Europe. The speedometer is in kilometers and the odometer shows 77000. Wonder if that is in kilometers?

If the speedometer is in kilometers, so is the odometer. Maybe Chrysler Historical will have production numbers for export cars?
