I have been looking through the site for a while and decided to become a gold member . I'm still new and have been trying to figure out how to move around the site . I think I am finally starting to get it now . I thought it was about time to introduce myself and say HI .
I'm 28 years old and live in Lovington NewMexico . Its about 4-5 miles from the Texas border , 4 hours northeast of Elpaso TX , 2 hours southwest of Lubbock TX and about 2 and a half hours west of Roswell NM .
I have a 1973 dodge dart sport with a 440 . It has edelbrock performer rpm heads , forged flat top pistons , a weind tunnel ram intake w/ 2 600cfm carter afb carbs and hooker headers . The car has been mini tubbed w/ caltracs traction bars , subframe connecters , A833 4 speed trans , and an 8 3/4 rear end w 3:91 gears and a sure grip . It has the original sunroof with the hand crank and a list of factory options .
I also have two other projects I'm working on . The first one is a 74 dart sport that happens to be my first car . I bought it when I was only 14 years old . Its an original s6 car but I striped it down and I'm going to put a v8 in it . I just can't decide which v8 I want to use yet . The other car is a 1972 demon . It has been in my family since it was new . My dad's first job after vietnam was a car salesman in southern CA . He sold this demon to my great grandmother . It was the first car he ever sold . My great grandmother made them take the demon emblems off of her side of the car before she would buy it . The driver side still had the emblems because my great grandfather always drove and he didn't care what it was called .
Anyway thats my story . I guess you could say the A-body bug hit me at a very young age . I have a total of 8 cars , all of them are mopar so if you need parts let me know . If I don't have them , I usually know where to find them .
