My Mom is 80 and going through some bad stuff now . For about a year she has had a problem with her blood pressure dropping off to a dangerously low level.
Doctors haven't been able to pin point what is causing the problem. About a three weeks ago we had to rush her to emergency and they found a 60% plugged artery.
A stint was put in and she started to feel better, the next night we took her back to emergency with chest pains. She has been in the hospital 4 times since then, Last night she had to take three nitro pills and didn't kill the pain.
She woke my Dad up at 2:30 in the morning and told him she needed to go to the hospital.
Nitro patched and pain killer finally gave her some relief.
They have run so many tests on her it's amazing they can't figure it out.
She's scared and afraid that she has reached the end, so I'm asking if my family here at FABO if you would throw a prayer or well wishes her and the doctors way.

She is back home tonight and is doing okay as long as she doesn't do to much.
Trying to get her to sit down and take it easy is hard, she's always been the type of person that is busy doing something and can't stand just sitting.
Any way cast a little luck her way if you would.

Thanks,
Stan

all i got to say is dont try to stop her. let her free.lol my grand father told me before he passed away, that soon as he stopped working and moving around he was going to get sick and worse, sure enough, two weeks later he passed. i feel your pain. she will be in my families thoughts and prayers

Sorry to hear bout your Mom.Praying for the Doctors to find a solution and Mom to get back to her old self.8)

No problem , prayers sent for Mom.

My Mom had a heart attack 15 years ago, and since had a spinal fusion, two knee replacements, two carpel tunnel surgeries, and just had her second hip replacement.

I call her the bionic Woman, and two days after her second hip replacement she was outside on her hands and knees rebricking her walkway.

She is a tough old lady and refuses to let anything get her down, if your Mom is anything like mine she won't this slow her down by any means.
My Mom has not had a problem with ther heart since but she pretty much lives in constant pain from degenerative arthritis, but like I said, she never stops nor will she ever, she is a true inspiration to us all as I'm sure your Mom is with her go, go attitude.

Have they done an angiogram on your Mom to find blockage?

That's how they found my Mom's.

Thanks all!
Cudaspaz sounds like our moms where cut from the same mold. All mom thinks about is getting back down to Yuma to do some quad riding out in the desert and entertaining guests at there place for happy hour.
The morning after getting the stint put in she was sweeping the kitchen floor.

Sorry to hear this news about your Mom Stan. Here's hoping the Docs can figure it out and get her blood pressure regulated which is soooo important!!

Prayers are on their way from the AZ desert :angel2: Hope to meet you & yours one day.............

Nitro patches, pills or sub lingual sprays, work as a vasal dialater. The fact that she has pain after being active is a sign of the heart starving for O2. Sounds like she still has some artery blockage in the heart somewhere? Added to our Prayer list. I have issues with my mom, she is 84.

She does have another blockage below the one they put the stint in that is at 40%. It sounds like the doctor is concidering going back in to look at that one again.
It's pretty obvious there has to be a problem there some where.
I'll remember your mom in my prayers too.
