    Voltage limiter

I have a 1966 Barracuda with a bad fuel, temperature and oil pressure gauge. I did some research and found that the voltage limiter is in the fuel gauge and it is supposed to bring down the voltage to 5 volts for all three gauges. I am getting a steady 12 volts at the temp sensor and the fuel...

[FOR SALE] Vintage Wheel Alignment Turn Plates

At the risk of pissing off a moderator, it's not like "on the hill" is a location and his zip was in the first post. @slant six if your deal falls through, add me to the list, I'll take em if everyone else in front of me turns them down

Beautiful day at Keystone Raceway Park.

He was explaining it to me but I’m going to have to dig deeper into this discussion with him a the big money race in two weeks. Somehow they have to put a mechanical lockout on it because if you bump the shifter even in the pits driving it will lock up the rear wheels. I don’t think he’s running...

How much would you pay for this 340?

'69 340 with non-X heads aluminum water pump? Ran 6 years ago? Without pulling heads and knowing how far its been bored out no way to know what its worth. If its 60 over its scrap metal boat anchor. Crap Fram filter no 90 degree adapter makes one wonder too....

I noticed that too. Very odd. Edit: just saw John's explanation. That has got to be hard on a good glide. Seven tenths off, for no first gear? Wow.

CNC Mill Mark Removal in Intake Port

That depends on who's work you read. Does the fuel that's impinged on the walls travel as fast as the fuel in the air column? Is the fuel that's traveling on the walls nice and fine and well atomized? But my flow bench told me.......

As far as what I’ve accomplished without the car being here I purchased a solid axle kit from DrDiff as well as a set of 3.31s. A complete A body 8.75 came with the car which can be used to replace the Dana 20 but decided to stay stock. I’ll flip the 8.75 later to fund some other upgrades.

2024 14th Annual FABO NHRA "Pick 'Em" Game - It's NITRO Burnin' Time Again!!!

Your last post on this thread was a comment last Tuesday (Post #161). Your previous 'locked' picks (Antron Brown, Austin Prock, Erica Enders and Gaige Herrera) are in play for Thunder Valley. You can change them if you want but you will lose earned qualification position points.

    Wasn’t someone looking for a W2 intake.

That would be correct. To make things more difficult, using a tube to sleeve the pushrod hole isn’t an easy thing to do since there not a nice round machined hole. But it’s possible to use a brass tube and then fill the space with an epoxy. JB weld or other. The pushrod pinch is NOT the...

    318 LA build log

An update again, The oil pan is the wrong blue. Because the paint I used was not from the same batch. Duplicolor must have fixed the issue of the paint not matching good enough and I painted the engine with the newer corrected paint. I ran out of the newer paint and used some old Chrysler blue...

[FOR SALE] FEDERAL Power Steering Pump Pulley.

mrbently. I'm sorta, kinda, having a unique understanding to your question with me. I would have to say the hex portion of pulley is close to "flush" with the whole diameter of the pulley. Now may i ask a question to you? What difference of pulleys are there in your thinking? Why would that...

    Wasn’t someone looking for a W2 intake.

Would anyone in this thread happen to have a good picture of a W2 intake port that has been ported. I’m porting mine right now using the DC templates and it looks like the pushrod bulge needs to be completely removed for the template to fit correctly. But I’m not sure there’s enough meat there...
