I just made a trade of vehicles. Some of you know I had a Hemi Orange 71 Challenger RT. After many years of owning it, grandchildren being invented, and general life getting in the way, I decided to post it up for a trade. I really didn’t expect it to happen so quick, but it did. I traded the...

My ‘66 Valiant Convertible at CTC Cars & Coffee

That is a very nice car! I’ve never seen a Signet Commando with the 4-speed. I wish my ‘65 Dart convertible was. It would be interesting to know how many of these they built. Not too many, I’d guess. Wonder if the disc brakes were stock? He said he did the master cylinder, but that looked like...

    La318 cylinder head question

The early closed chamber heads should be about 10cc smaller than the low-compression smoggers on your 74 engine. This will bump your compression up from a true 8/1 to a true 8.8. and your cylinder pressure up to 158psi@sea-level. Even if your cam is stock, The Dcr on this new combination is...

[FOR SALE] A body 4 speed

Long gone. Unreadable from the pitting

How would you rebuild this 318?

Bingo Double bingo I agree that is the best route. If the engine needs to be bored out, replacement pistons are the cheapest route. More compression is a low return on power output. Triple bingo If the OP wants more power, there’s cheap and expensive. This should be in your sig...

    42RH advice needed

Thank you for the speedy and helpful replies. It did smell a bit... Kickdown linkage is rod all the way. Is it possible that this wasn't adjusted right when the transmission was installed and has caused the issue or more likely that the transmission was tired as purchased? The car has been...

Back after a couple of decades

I decided to rock the stock 14 inch caps for now. I ordered some 215/70/14s for these wheels. Should perk it up a little more in the looks department. I wanna put some 15s but will wait a lil while

‘69 Dart Tail Light Issue. Yes, another one of these…

Update: problem fixed. Back of the fuse block. Battery feed - Q3-14R* (14 gauge red w/chaser). Cleaned the damn contact, blew it out with some “dust off” and it works again. I appreciate everyone getting me motivated enough to dig a little deeper on it. Cheers to you all.
