ya...it just has to be fast enough to be fun for me. I am spoiled by our modern cars that cruise
so nice around 2000 rpm. Smooth idle, good mileage, driveabilty, and not too loud!
I'm lucky, all my hobbies are seasonal and when the season changes i get interested
doing things i haven't done for quite some time. I usually only work on the car when
i'm couped up in the winter. When Dec. rolls around i can hardly wait to heat the shop
up and get at it for 3 months.Spring...
Sounds like you are doing the "same old same old" Get a project that excites you and the adrenalin
will just appear from nowhere regardless of age. Your health and weight can make a big difference too!
Back in '69 and 70 the A bodies were the cheapest of them all and the only car a lot of us
young guys could afford.
Then we found out they were pretty quick!
I totalled them up some time ago and there were between 12 and 17 15- 20 second commercials per
break and i think in any given hour up to 80. So for 5 hours of night TV in the winter you can hit 400.
Regular TV is not even watchable anymore....and do people actually buy Peloton exercise machines?
Nah..it's money. The bus lines are contracted and make the same whether the busses
run or not. When they cancel they save bus drivers' wages and all the gas. Our schools
remain open, only the busses stop!
Big savings for the bus line!
what goes around comes around and you won't do well in the hobby taking advantage of people. My prices are very reasonable and usually guys can't get out of my driveway fast enough or get the smile off their face. But i buy lots of stuff and when in need i've been given "smokin" deals from the...
I don't think it matters when you eat Rusty. If you take in fewer calories than you require each day
you will lose weight whether you like it or not. Hemi 71x has been doing this in spades and has certainly
lost the weight he wanted to lose. I think 3500 calories is about a pound so consume a...
10 lbs. per week might be too much too fast. You have probably lost muscle mass instead of stored fat. Slow down to 2 or 3 pounds per month by cutting out sugary treats and replace with protein to maintain muscle mass. You need to eat lots..but lo calorie nutritious foods. I went down 34 lbs in...
i'm betting a lot of guys would love that .204 / .214 cam in their 14" tire 3.23 geared 340 or 360 A body.
A blast to drive from idle to 4800 rpm!
...and i can hear all the murmurs!
The hobby has changed so much in recent years. Used to be only Classics were restored
or modified but anything and everything seems to be included anymore. For racing the
easiest way to hp was usually chosen. But some guys like to be different or do something
that is more difficult or...
Don't worry about exercising to lose weight PR.Exercise will make you healthier for sure but weight loss is just math.
If you eat more calories than you need you will gain weight and if you eat fewer calories than you need you will lose weight.
Problem is everything is laced with sugar and we...
Cholestrol is very controversial. I read that consuming it is not the problem because it is digested and used by
your organs. Thought was that eating excessive simple carbs (sugar) are converted to cholestrol by your liver and saturates the blood causing problems?
Survey of test mules showed a...
Wow...i had no idea guys were taking so many tests and drugs for heart disease. Had heart surgery in
06 and have just tried to stay active and look after myself better. Without a doubt, losing some weight
and changing my diet had the biggest effect on my health and how i feel. On the wrong side...
didn't anybody but me see the interference on the OT winner? Goudas
took the defense right out of the play, hanging on his stick!
...gave Cousins an easy target!
And yes we all could see Rileys goal was in...no the Leafs are not my team but...
My daily drivers have all been Hondas and my trucks have all been Toyotas for 40 years.
I drove domestics until '81 and every one of them were terrible vehicles.
As for my muscle car habit they are all Mopars and my first was a '71 340 Cuda in 1971.
Brad Chad builds some funky stuff but his work is top notch.
He uses Nason single stage with excellent results.Lots of videos available for someone that wants to learn.
Lookin' good. Going through this myself too. I realize now that there is no way anyone should have any complaints about the price of bodywork and paint. It is extremely hard work!
