Dan might be off base. Whatever. You are missing my point even though you pointed it out in your own post (#34). You said "imagine". You can't base comps on imagined circumstances. (drunk idiot..., mom's old car .....) Certainly, not rational to expect someone else to base their comps on...

I think we can all agree that electronics will make more power and are needed to help with that. But, I think the original point is that electronics are taking the sport out of the sport. Racing is potentially headed the wrong way. Less innovation and less talent needed from the driver/owner...
