Doing a FABO search I found a 2015 thread where several of you have the 44 inch Harbor Freight roller tool cabinet: tool box/chest How are they holding up? I have been looking at both their 44 and 56 inch model, seems like the 56 is more stout with heavier sheet metal but it is also $300 more.

I am in the process of rebuilding my front suspension and plan to use my original torsion bars. I want to clean them up a little and paint them. I understood you are to be careful with torsion bars to not nick them etc. to keep their integrity but can I sand them lightly before painting?

Anybody have their inserts rechromed? Is there much they can do with the pitting? I am looking at some 340s inserts with the typical pitting, mostly in the grooves, but some on the flats, and weighing if I should wait for a better pair to come along or if the pits are fixable?
