67-76 A body floor rear supports - seat bracket

Yes, these are the short arms from the rockers. I will try to get a picture when I get home. I have the front ones, but the rear ones look something like these which are for B-bodies (apologies to Roseville Moparts for linking to their image)...

67-76 A body floor rear supports - seat bracket

I'm looking for rust-free rear floor supports for my 68 Dodge Dart 2dr HT. I think any from 67 up would work. These are the supports that tie the floor pan to the inner frame rails (they are under the floor pan). Sometimes these are called "floor pan supports," but I've also heard them called...

    1974 Swinger...let the pain begin

Looks like a great project! I always thought it would be cool to have a 426 Hemi sleeper (beige or maroon paint and custom wheels made to look like full hubcaps).

    Engine shops in PA

Might be too far for you (but a couple hours away isn't too bad). Thompson Machine in Essex, MD is also a good one. Their number is 410-908-9976.

Thanks for the advice guys. Mark, I live in the Pottstown area (Chesco side of the river), maybe I'll see you around in your Dart when the weather is nice.

68 Dart Minitub with Offset shackles question

My car (68 Dart) is in the body shop with it's quarters cut off right now, and the wheel houses will have to be replaced anyway. I'd like to minitub the car now, but I'm not sure I want to do the 3" relocation. If I use offset shackles WITH a minitub, is there any advantage over using just...

    Just got **** LUCKY

And if it is a slant six, you can have the fire department hose it down while it is running, too. (as long as you are wearing Blu-Blockers) Or was that another commercial?

Anyone running a hydraulic clutch with their 833?

Got the kit...it is the Chuck's kit, just sold by Brewers. Looks pretty easy to install. I need to swap the A-body tail housing I have onto my B/E trans before I do anything, though.

    Steering Wheels

Haven't bought one for myself yet, but I'm going to go with a Moon steering wheel. I've heard good things about them, and they're pretty inexpensive. http://www.mooneyesusa.com/steering-wheels-c-188_74.html

    Another 68 Dodge Dart....

Are you gonna put in holes for round sidemarker lights? I don't know why, but I love the '68 round sidemarkers.

Anyone running a hydraulic clutch with their 833?

I just bought a hydraulic slave setup from Brewer's today. My car is in for body work now, but I plan on mocking up my transmission/clutch off the car to make sure everything works together. I will be using a Lakewood bellhousing and McLeod pressure plate and disc. This will be on a Magnum...

180 degree (crossover) headers in full bodied Dart?

Does anyone here know of anyone running 180º headers in a full bodied A-body car? Is it possible? If so, how about on the street? I'm guessing no, but I think it would be really cool. I plan on going with Doug's D453 headers on the 360 in my '68 Dart, but if I thought there were some...

    Bright Red Paint Code Differences

My '68 Dart 270 is getting ready for paint. Currently it is an enamel re-spray of PP1. Originally I was going to paint the car plum crazy purple, but the red has grown on me, really fits a '60s look better, etc. And I saw a nice '68 Charger in the spring only 33-1 bright red when I was at...

    Body work opinions

Without seeing your car, that sounds expensive to me. Prices can vary, but some independent shops can paint a whole car for $4000 to $5000 with a quality basecoat clearcoat + minor body work. Other shops catering to high end customers might have paint only starting at $7000 just to paint the...
