How can a person tell by looking at the harmonic balancer whether a 340 has a cast or forged crankshaft? 68 Dart - 72 engine. I was talking to a guy at a show one day, and when I told him the engine was a 72, he said "Yeah, I can tell it's a forged crank". I did not think to ask him how he knew.

Have a 68 Dart GTS, 8-3/4" rear axle. The bearing on the driver's side has 'spun' in the housing, making it larger than the OD of the bearing. The bearing fits too loosely. What's the best way to fix it? Thanks.............James

The one still installed in driver's side door has a broken clip (part of frame) at top part of glass. Have an entire assembly ready to install but can't get the old one out. It is loose and will move a little. Looks like it should just lift up and out. Is there some trick to getting it out...
